Took me leather jacket to get some patches put on. Also needed a new button sewn onto me jeans. They were dead friendly, prices were fair and the service was quick as a flash. Had me gear back the same day. Would definitely recommend them, mate.

Absolutely dreadful experience at this establishment! My spouse was quoted £4.99 by the receptionist to alter a pair of jeans, but upon collection, another staff member charged him £8.99 instead. No apologies or offer to honor the original quote. We could have had the alteration done more affordably in town. Looking forward to Brexit – why should businesses inconvenience customers like this? I've warned my friends to steer clear of this place.

I must say, I can't speak highly enough of The Zip Yard. A couple of years back, I treated myself to a Schott Perfecto leather jacket and have been taking extra care of it ever since. Imagine my shock when I pulled it out of the closet a week ago and spotted a 2-inch tear above the left pocket. I was devastated – I think I snagged it while putting my purse in there. I was on the brink of tears, honestly. I half-heartedly searched for 'leather repairs in Glasgow' because I was convinced my jacket was done for and I'd have to buy a new one.
That's when I stumbled upon The Zip Yard, but I didn't bother reading any reviews because I truly believed no one could fix it. I popped into the shop and the guy at the counter was superb. After evaluating the damage, he consulted with one of the ladies in the workshop... they explained that they would restitch and reinforce the pocket, while also using glue and patches to mend the tear. All this for just £20 and a week's turnaround time.
Fast forward to this past Monday when I picked up the jacket, and I am absolutely blown away by their work. The tear that was once so noticeable and bound to get worse is now... GONE! It just appears as a slight crease in the leather that you have to squint to see under the light. It's unbelievable what they've accomplished.
I cannot recommend them enough or express my gratitude for what they've done. On top of that, they must have cleaned and nourished the leather because it looks as good as new.

I am absolutely grateful for the amazing work done by the staff here. I purchased a dress for my daughter's wedding that required adjustments at the shoulders. I've been to Zipyard a few times now, and most recently my daughter wanted to add 2 pockets to the front of a jacket that didn't have any. The staff at Zipyard did a cracking job - you'd never guess those pockets weren't part of the original design!

Got meself a fair price for the work, an' true to 'is word, got a text few days later sayin' me garments were ready for pickin' up.
Just so ya know, me own mother was a seamstress, so I can spot good work when I see it.

I 'ad a bit of a problem with me backpack, the shoulder strap 'ad seen better days after all the wear and tear. I decided to take it to this shop to see if they could sort it out for me. They took it in and returned it to me the next day. The stitching was top-notch, so clean and the bag looked good as new. The folks at the shop were really friendly too. Five stars from me, highly recommend!

The entire team's craftsmanship is top-notch, but I must give a huge shoutout to Diyar, who truly worked wonders on my son's work pants. They needed hemming, slimming down the legs entirely, and keeping the cargo pockets intact! What an amazing job this courteous, amiable, and very polite young man has performed. I popped into The Zip Yard today with a coat that had a dodgy zip and a backpack with a busted strap. I was only inside for 5 minutes and walked out with both sorted. The staff member I chatted with was delightful and took care of the bag, while her colleague fixed the zip. I can't commend them enough. Top-notch service with a friendly vibe.
