Absolutely stunning array of artisanal and gourmet offerings, including clothing. It may be a tad bit on the pricier end, but the fish and chip shop on the premises is a real gem for a hearty lunch.

If ye have some spare coins to splash, this be the spot to be - but best not venture there on a bustling Saturday as social distancing seemed non-existent. The array of high-end goods be vast, from stylish attire to fancy cheeses. Treats from the canteen be priced at £5, while grub ranges from £12 to £20 for a modest portion and a wee cup o' coffee. The lavatories be spotless, tidy, and beautifully maintained ♡ with a fine selection of fresh fruits, veggies, and plants. 'Tis simple to locate with ample parking space. Accessibility for disabled folk be easy both in parking and entering the establishment.

I was completely blown away by Casa Bruar. The variety of shops with their vibrant spring decor, full of beautiful colors, left me speechless. The central market was a true feast for the eyes, brimming with flowers, seeds for planting, fresh veggies, and garden crafts.

The array of souvenirs was impressive, offering a treasure trove of beautiful finds. Dining at the restaurant was a delightful experience, with a diverse menu featuring an abundance of options - from seafood like fish and lobster, to hearty meats such as beef, chicken, and pork, along with soups, salads, cakes, and refreshing natural juices. The prices were reasonable too.

The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive, and the spacious parking lot catered to all types of vehicles, including a special area designated for our furry friends. Overall, Casa Bruar truly exceeded my expectations and left me thoroughly impressed.

The dining experience was fantastic, with ample seating and a helpful staff. I particularly appreciated their assistance in carrying my tray to my seat, as I am in a wheelchair. While there was some disabled parking available at the front of the department store, it was limited around the other side. To access other areas of the store, I had to venture outside in inclement weather. Inside, the layout was cluttered with small stalls showcasing beautiful items, making it challenging to maneuver in a wheelchair.

The highlight of this place has to be the exclusive car park area designed specifically for us dog owners. With canopies providing shade for the cars and handy standpipes offering fresh water, it's a real bonus. However, I must say that prices for drinks and meals are on the steep side and the overall environment feels a bit crowded and chaotic.
Jeremy Mitchell (23/06/2025, 05:50):
Lovely spot and scenery, top-notch department store with a grocery market, farm market, cafe, dining options, and even a fish and chips joint for a quick bite. Also, don't miss the whisky store and museum - they're a must-visit. The staff are all so kind and accommodating. An excellent destination for a day out!

An amazing shopping experience for anything from cheese to outdoor clothing.

Hailing from the US, I've never encountered a place with such a wide array of fantastic products all under one roof! Top-notch clothing brands built to endure, an excellent selection of whiskies to choose from, meats, dry goods, and more. My only gripe is that parking was a bit tricky to find, but once you start exploring, you quickly realize why it's so beloved. Absolutely planning to return!
Dennis Jordan (21/06/2025, 15:46):
I must say, I was quite disappointed with the service received at the department store. The individual working at the deli counter really embodied a lackadaisical attitude. My sibling visited the store around 2pm today and was informed that they couldn't slice any meat. The explanation provided was rather unclear. Later on, I went to the store at 5pm only to be told that slicing the meat wasn't feasible as the machine required cleaning before closing. It's disheartening to pay premium prices for such an underwhelming encounter. Here's hoping it was simply an off day.
Madison Perez (21/06/2025, 07:21):
What a marvelous spot offering a plethora of options for one's every whim and fancy! Upon entering this exquisite food hall, I found myself in a quandary due to the sheer abundance of choices; I could have easily whiled away hours perusing the offerings, but alas, duty called. A visit to the falls beckoned. Nevertheless, it is unquestionably a destination worth exploring if you happen to be in the vicinity. The only drawback I encountered was the rather steep prices, with items marked up £10 above the usual rates. Consequently, I felt compelled to deduct a star from my assessment.

The establishment is meticulously well-kept, boasting cleanliness and complimentary parking facilities. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Scotland, it truly is a gem of a place worthy of admiration.
Rachel Murphy (18/06/2025, 00:25):
A luxurious shopping experience with a touch of Scottish charm. It may be a bit pricey, but there's a discount warehouse where you can find some great deals. Don't forget to visit the stunning Falls of Bruar nearby for a lovely walk along the waterfalls and stream.
Timothy Kim (16/06/2025, 08:17):
I just want to give a big shoutout to Garry, the Deputy Manager of the Food Hall at House of Bruar. He truly was our hero when he helped us with my daughter-in-law's wheelchair. Garry not only lifted the heavy chair from our car but also set it up for us with a smile. His kindness and willingness to assist really made our day. Garry is a true asset to House of Bruar, and we can't thank him enough. We'll definitely be returning soon! 😊
Randy Sanchez (16/06/2025, 07:03):
This shopping area is so posh and fancy. There's tons of free parking available, and they have a wide variety of sections to browse through. It gets really busy here!
Ralph Evans (15/06/2025, 12:30):
Oh, let me tell you, this department store has some of the most unique finds you'll ever lay your eyes on. I searched high and low in London, but couldn't find anything quite like it. Sure, it might be a tad pricey, but the experience is absolutely worth it.
Keith Lewis (15/06/2025, 01:00):
I popped into The House of Bruar the other day, and it was an absolute joy! As soon as I set foot inside, I was taken aback by the lovely arrangement and the cozy, welcoming vibe. The range of goods is top-notch, showcasing premium Scottish attire, outdoor equipment, and scrumptious local delicacies.
Linda Ortiz (13/06/2025, 10:34):
Great selection of food options and good coffee, but I recommend steering clear of the cakes in the food hall as they seem to have attracted some avian attention.
Kathleen Fisher (12/06/2025, 08:27):
I recently purchased a cashmere sweater and tweed trousers from this department store. The quality of the products is superb and they fit me perfectly. The delivery was right on schedule and the items were beautifully packaged. I will definitely be buying more items from this store in the future.
Jerry Cooper (08/06/2025, 15:32):
I strongly advise against shopping online with this brand. I purchased a pair of slippers for my partner as a Christmas present, and after just a few days of wear, the stitching started coming undone. When I reached out to customer service, it took them several days to respond, and they requested that I cover the cost of returning the faulty shoes for inspection. I argued that I should not have to pay for postage since the item was defective. After some back and forth, they finally provided me with a postage label and I sent the shoes back. They confirmed receiving my return on January 27th, but despite sending multiple follow-up emails, I have yet to receive any updates on the status of my refund. Each interaction with their customer service team has been strangely unprofessional; at one point, I even received an out-of-office reply from a woman's personal email address after sending a follow-up email. It has now been 12 days since they received the item, and I still have no idea when my refund will be processed. I have been out of pocket for over two months, and the incompetence of the customer service team is beyond frustrating. I strongly suggest avoiding this brand and taking your business elsewhere to save both your money and your sanity!
Kenneth Roberts (08/06/2025, 07:31):
A lovely store with a great selection of high-end products and a wide variety of items including clothing, food, hot and cold drinks. It's like a mini luxury department store where you can find everything you need in one place. There's also a cafe on site serving delicious hot and cold food. It's not your typical cheap grab-and-go spot, but more of an upscale destination for shopping and dining, so prices are on the higher side. Plenty of parking available and easy access. The staff are very friendly. I highly recommend paying a visit!
Leonard Baker (07/06/2025, 01:45):
I dropped in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the great prices and generous portion sizes.

I made a pit stop here while traveling down the A9, as it's conveniently located just off the main road. The car park was bustling as usual, but I was pleased to find that the restaurant service was quick and efficient.

I ordered two hearty bowls of soup with thick slices of bread, which were absolutely delicious and priced at just £4.95 each. The menu offered a variety of appetizing options, and I would definitely consider returning in the future.
Stephanie Martinez (31/05/2025, 13:02):
What a cracking spot! The food market at this department store has a braw selection of Scottish goodies, as well as some bonnie international and local treasures. The prices are fair and the customer service is top-notch. If you fancy a wee walk, there's a stunning waterfall behind the House of Bruar, just a half-hour stroll away, with a belter of a view. Definitely worth a visit, ken.
