I do pop in for breakfast quite often. The prices are fair and there's plenty of parking space available, which is a bonus.
Louis Wright (11/08/2025, 16:55):
I was chilling outside at this dog-friendly spot. Ordered some mac and cheese, but man, it was tiny and pricey. The container was small and only half full. Gotta admit, it did taste delicious though. Also tried the Portuguese custard tart, way too sweet for my liking. Overall, quite disappointed. On the upside, the coffee was great and the service was really friendly.
Patrick Ramos (07/08/2025, 22:53):
One of the top farm shops around, this place has a fantastic selection. The butcher's shop is a must-visit, offering top-notch choices and quality. The restaurant serves up a great variety, though there might be a bit of a wait during busy times, it's definitely worth it.
Carol James (31/07/2025, 22:15):
The food selection here is quite lovely, I must say. The bread and scones are especially delightful. Prices are typical for a farm shop or deli. Convenient location with ample parking. It's definitely a well-liked spot among locals.
Andrea Hill (31/07/2025, 06:41):
The steak was absolutely scrumptious, mate, and those onion rings were top-notch, I reckon they're the best I've ever had. It's a tad pricey, but you're munching on premium Scottish beef cuts. The restaurant was a bit chilly, but hey, you're dining alfresco in a barn. Paying £2.25 for around 25 ml of peppercorn sauce might seem a bit steep, but it was proper tasty. Personally, I reckon £1.25 would be a more reasonable price. All in all, I reckon I'll come back for another round, no doubt about it.

Balgove Larder is an absolute gem for your weekly healthful shopping needs. Their incredible array of locally sourced goods truly reflects their dedication to championing nearby suppliers. The butcher's section, in particular, is a standout feature. The superior quality and wide range of options ensure that each visit is a delightful culinary adventure.
Justin Fisher (27/07/2025, 03:15):
I absolutely adored the food at the farm shop. The quality was top-notch and the staff were incredibly friendly. My only slight issue was with the rocket lettuce in the egg sandwich - it made it quite tricky to eat. Next time, I'll be sure to request no rocket lettuce on my egg sandwich. Overall, it was a perfect 10/10 experience.

Ah, what a find! This shop is a real gem. They offer a fantastic selection of Scottish-made gifts in all shapes and sizes, a delightful food market with a butcher's section, and a café that serves the most scrumptious scones! We tried the cherry scones, which were filled with whole cherries and baked to perfection - so flaky! And they came with delicious raspberry jam and clotted cream. Absolutely divine! I would highly recommend stopping by when you're in St Andrews.
Sarah Jordan (25/07/2025, 22:20):
Absolutely top-notch cafe and shop, and hands down the finest butcher in the whole country.
Jose Taylor (24/07/2025, 20:03):
What a lovely farm shop with a wide range of fresh produce, gifts, and treats! I found all the little gifts I needed to bring back home. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was top-notch and so friendly.
Donald Miller (24/07/2025, 14:42):
This place is an absolute gem for a spot of coffee, brunch, a delightful meal, or a scrumptious cake, just a stone's throw away from Saint Andrews! The variety of top-notch farm products is exceptional, and the staff is incredibly welcoming, although it can get quite bustling on weekends.
Victoria Johnson (24/07/2025, 03:12):
This place is just a tourist trap, innit? No different from all them other farm shops you see around these parts. Seen one, seen 'em all, mate. Might be alright if you've never been to a farm shop before, but it's a bit too posh for my liking.
Julie Peterson (23/07/2025, 15:20):
The farm shop is truly a gem, with its authentic offerings and delightful staff. The selection of cheese, meats, and butcher products, as well as the pizza box, steak barn, and coffee, is simply fabulous! The location is perfect, just outside or right before St. Andrews. It's a must-visit! We enjoyed a fantastic lunch that was both delicious and affordable, with plenty of options to choose from.
Rose Graham (22/07/2025, 18:03):
Oh, let me tell you, the burgers at this farm shop are absolutely top-notch! I sampled the meat and mushroom varieties, and they were both simply delicious. And don't even get me started on the amazing potato chips - they were a real treat. The shop also offers a fantastic selection of local foods, which is a definite plus.

The interior design of the place is lovely, although it's worth noting that it's all open, so if you're someone who gets a bit chilly, remember to bring a jacket along. Plus, there's a quaint little shop right next door where you can purchase their products. I must say, though, some of the items can be a tad on the pricey side.
Joshua Garcia (18/07/2025, 20:32):
I have dined at the steak barn and the cafe over the past few days. The food and service were absolutely top-notch! I will definitely be returning for more delicious meals. Cheers!
Sharon Turner (16/07/2025, 22:53):
I often find meself makin' the journey to Balgove for their incredible produce. I just can't get enough of their granola, it's absolutely addictin'. The selection of top-notch chocolate and their bacon buns to take away are some of me favorites too!
Kimberly Morales (16/07/2025, 15:49):
The Farm shop café offers a diverse menu at great prices. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. I ordered a cappuccino with a scone and jam. The coffee was a bit weak for my liking, and the jam was runny and thin. My husband had a sausage roll with three large sausages, and he said they tasted fantastic!
Tyler Alexander (15/07/2025, 20:47):
What a wonderful find! This charming little farm shop is a true hidden gem. The coffee is top-notch, the service is impeccable, and the food selection is simply fantastic. Don't even get me started on the delicatessen and butchery - they offer such a wide variety of high-quality goods. I can't recommend this place enough; you'll want to keep coming back for more!
Timothy Evans (15/07/2025, 18:18):
What a lovely farm shop with an abundance of fresh and nutritious goodies that we simply adore. The staff were so courteous and knowledgeable. We will most certainly return. And let's not overlook the charming barn adjacent to it, offering delightful craft beers along with scrumptious steaks and burgers. A definite 5-star experience!
Terry Hughes (15/07/2025, 15:47):
Typically a charming spot for a cuppa and a chat, but today was a bit of a kerfuffle. Our mate with coeliac disease asked for a gluten-free sarnie but got a regular one instead. And to top it off, we stumbled upon a massive, ferocious-looking spider in the allegedly triple-washed salad. They did offer to whip up another sandwich sans salad, but we had to ask for a manager first. Ended up with complimentary drinks and a spider-free sandwich, so that's something!
