A rather lovely spot, it was. Though the weather in March 2018 was quite rainy and stormy, I must say I quite enjoyed it. Thumbs up!
Roger Green (12/09/2025, 18:32):

One of me favorite spots to visit on a tranquil summer day. The harbor is beyond picturesque, mate. Finding a spot to park can be a bit of a hassle, but it's definitely worth the trouble.

A charming seaside village that once thrived as a bustling fishing harbor has now transformed into a hub for tourism. Visitors can enjoy a variety of waterfront cafes, quaint gift shops, a captivating fisheries museum, and a vital lifeboat station.

Always a lovely spot to visit, even just to sit at the harbor and watch the world go by with an ice cream. There are plenty of charming cafes and pubs to enjoy in the area.

Anstruther has the unmistakable scent of the sea, with hints of seaweed, fish and chips, and ice cream in the air. The picturesque views, charming boats bobbing in the harbor, and easy accessibility make it a delightful spot to visit. While parking can be a bit of a challenge due to high demand and charges, finding a spot is well worth the effort. This quaint little town along the East Neuk of Fife offers a variety of dining options, from traditional chippies to cozy restaurants, as well as idyllic walking paths for all to enjoy. Anstruther truly has something to offer for everyone.

Kimberly Gonzales (01/09/2025, 10:57):
We absolutely adore Anstruther and the East Neuk area.
Charles Ford (31/08/2025, 04:30):
I must say, the food here is quite good. Can't help but notice the humorous way the reviews are written. Not for this particular place, but I suspect it might be the efforts of a single individual using various aliases connected to one email address. Just an observation and gut feeling I have, both here and on TripAdvisor. Ten countries or cities in the same week? That's quite the feat, eh? I wonder if writing so many reviews gets you any freebies, because my frugal partner would be first in line for that, if it's not him already. Yeah, you know who you are!
Chloe Morales (28/08/2025, 01:59):
Lovely spot for some peace and quiet, great for unwinding and enjoying the serenity

I absolutely adore Anstruther and the entire East Neuk of Fife, the scenery is just breathtaking! The charming little villages are full of hidden treasures, and The Wee Fish & Chip shop is definitely one of them. The food is top-notch, prepared with fresh ingredients by a lovely team of staff. A must-visit for anyone exploring the area!
Victoria Johnson (23/08/2025, 08:38):
Just like all harbours, this one is filled with plenty of boats. What sets it apart is the picturesque view of the nearby May Island. Even when the weather gets rough, there's something quite special about watching the waves crash against the walls.
Brian Collins (19/08/2025, 14:36):
Fantastic spot, I come here multiple times a year, it's an absolute gem and the top spot for fish and chips in the UK!
Kimberly Richardson (19/08/2025, 11:45):
Charming spot by the waterfront. We popped in during our tour for a quick visit. The locals were delightful, and there was a cute little coffee shop right by the water.
Teresa Lee (16/08/2025, 21:40):
Absolutely adore this spot. It's a charming fishing pier with lovely folks around, though I must admit, my affection for it may stem from the countless cherished moments I've had here.
Joseph Reyes (12/08/2025, 22:50):

Gerald Kim (12/08/2025, 02:28):
A bustling hub of excitement! Brimming with visitors, offering a plethora of dining and shopping options. A delightful stroll along the waterfront, with a sandy beach section for the little ones. While there are public restrooms available, they do come at a small fee. On the bright side, parking is complimentary.
Sharon Kim (10/08/2025, 21:36):
It's been about a year since I last stopped by the fishing pier. It's great to see the harbor and local shops bustling with activity as folks soak up the sun. Restaurants are abuzz with diners enjoying their meals al fresco, and the ice cream parlors are bustling as well. A lovely day for sure!
