We were gifted a voucher for afternoon tea and thought to make use of it today. It was absolutely brilliant and one of the finest afternoon teas we've ever experienced. What truly stood out was the delightful harmony between savory and sweet, as well as the genuine effort put into ensuring the vegetarian options were just as outstanding as the non-veggie ones. The setting was lovely, the food was superb, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Would highly recommend.

The staff at this garden center are truly top-notch! They were so helpful and knowledgeable. I brought my son in his wheelchair and was picking out a few items, and they kindly assisted me with the trolley when I was done and even helped load everything into the car. I found some absolutely stunning plants and pots for my patio. Highly recommend!

In my opinion, Pentland Plants offers the finest cuisine among all garden centers. I paid a visit today and found the food to still be excellent, but I couldn't help but notice that dogs seem to be taking over the place. It's possible that this issue has become more apparent since the dog area was relocated to the front of the eating area. Now one must navigate through dogs lounging across the aisles. Even my brother, who adores dogs, remarked on the potential hazards this situation poses. One possible solution could be to establish a central entrance to the cafe, with dogs (and their owners) directed to the right and others to the left. While I appreciate that you have signs reminding visitors of proper dog etiquette, it seems that these guidelines are not consistently followed. Moreover, I believe these notices may inadvertently place undue pressure on the staff. Do they have to remind dog owners to keep their pets' paws off the chairs or prevent them from blocking the aisles? I would rate the food as five stars, but deduct two stars due to the current obstacle course scenario.

We made a pit stop for some grub at the cafe. Top-notch service, but I reckon the chicken and avocado sarnie could do without the mayo, don't you think?

Lovely assortment of plants on display.
Decided to grab some breakfast at the café and was delighted to discover it offers table service.
The food was delicious, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

It was quite crowded during lunch hours. The portion sizes were generous, but we found the prices to be a bit steep for simple dishes. Two jacket potatoes and a cup of tea came to almost £20. The service was good, and you could conveniently order and pay at your table using a QR code.

Lovely garden center, fully stocked and well laid out. Gets quite bustling when the sun is out, so watch out when you're heading there from Edinburgh. The signposting is good, but you might still miss the turn if you're not careful!

The staff were absolutely lovely and super efficient. Our order arrived in under 5 minutes, which was a pleasant surprise. If we had gone to Dobbies instead, the wait for our poached eggs would have been closer to 40 minutes. The food was top-notch, I must say. Would highly recommend, a solid 10/10!

Popped in for a spot of lunch and a browse for some plants. This was my maiden visit and it turned out to be a very rewarding expedition. The food was top-notch, and I managed to pick up a few plants. Even snagged a lovely birthday present for the missus from the excellent range of items on offer. The staff were ever so helpful, and there was ample parking available. A splendid outing all around.

Had a lovely time at this garden center. Enjoyed a delicious lunch and picked up some beautiful plants. The staff were incredibly helpful in every department, they even fetched me a chair while I waited for my ride. The cafe staff were especially kind, accommodating my request to sit in the dog-friendly section where I had a great time meeting some furry four-legged friends. Overall, a visit to this place is definitely worthwhile.

What an amazing selection of plants, shrubs, and trees.
Compost, planters, hanging baskets, and everything you need to line and fill them as well.
And let's not overlook the on-site café. Definitely worth a visit.

We popped in for a spot of brekkie at their cafe. Top notch range on offer at just the right price. I went for the full breakfast, which set me back 9.99.
