A quaint little shop brimming with an extensive variety of models, including plastic kits, model trains, and remote control models. The assortment of model train accessories is truly impressive, too numerous to detail here. The proprietor is a treasure trove of knowledge, and if by chance he doesn't have what you seek, he can likely source it for you. The optimal approach is to personally visit the shop and behold the array for yourself.

This store is absolutely fantastic, with model kits catering to a wide range of hobbies. Whether you're into model cars, buses, aircraft, or military vehicles, you'll find something that catches your eye. The parking outside is limited to 1 hour, but let me tell you, time flies when you're in there. I popped in specifically for some 00 Scale Model Railways, and there was no shortage of options to peruse. Admittedly, it might not have everything for every hobbyist, but it had more than enough to satisfy my needs. I left the shop with a Hornby "Lady Diana Spencer" Scot Rail Class 47 model engine from their Railroad Range, which set me back £120. I also picked up three packs of Peco 00 wired rail connectors and a pack of Willi's link fencing (1.42 cm?). All in all, I spent just over £160. Here's the kicker – they also offer model railway engine repairs. This was music to my ears since my DCC-fitted Princess Margaret 4.6.2 is currently out of commission. I'll definitely be returning, although next time, I'll need to find a longer-term parking solution.

I recently visited this model shop to pick up a couple of glow plugs, and I must say, it was simply splendid! If only there were more shops like it around, it brings back memories of the old Yellow Pages adverts. When I called the shop, not expecting to find the nitro RC parts I needed, a friendly voice on the other end assured me they had them. They mentioned they've been using the same part for 20 years. They invited me to come down to the shop, and even offered to order in anything they didn't have in stock for me. Big thanks to Uddingston Model Centre! I also spotted some delightful 00 gauge locomotives – a true sign of a genuine model shop. I couldn't resist picking up a Hornby engine for my Grandad. Top-notch service all around! 👍
