The lunch choices are a bit lacking, I must say.
Thomas Moore (08/08/2025, 18:44):
Lovely staff. Shelves are always well-stocked. If it's available, you'll find it on the shelves. They carry most essentials one might need locally, and their special offers mean you can snag a decent deal at times. Plus, having an Argos collection point now is a great bonus.
Eric Cox (07/08/2025, 15:26):
The selection of goods is top-notch and so convenient for all my needs.
Ann Coleman (07/08/2025, 12:28):
The employees seem to favor selling alcohol and cigarettes to those underage, yet insist on ID for purchasing 28-year-old energy juice. They come across as rather arrogant and not the friendliest lot. Additionally, it appears that the more products one buys from this small store, the higher the prices go up. Items in high demand are subject to price doubling or get rebranded as higher quality than before.
Aaron Garcia (03/08/2025, 07:26):
Great shop overall, but there's one staff member (a small, round lady with dark brown hair) who can be a bit sour-faced. She insists on checking IDs for energy drinks from customers over 30 (even though I go there every day and no one else does this). She told me if I didn't like it, I could just go elsewhere.
Roy Lopez (02/08/2025, 15:25):
What a lovely supermarket! It was so clean and well-lit, and the staff were really helpful. Plus, I was pleasantly surprised that my shopping didn't break the bank. Cheers to that!
John Stewart (01/08/2025, 20:54):
Great place to do some shopping, but there's this one employee who's quite unfriendly and arrogant.
Aaron Barnes (19/07/2025, 22:21):
Hmm, the prices are a tad steep for my liking.
Allison Turner (18/07/2025, 17:12):
Great selection of groceries, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Janet Jenkins (12/07/2025, 19:33):
I've observed many people expressing their dissatisfaction with a team member. She truly is the most unpleasant individual I've encountered. Simply put, her behavior is beyond rude.
Philip Garcia (05/07/2025, 15:24):
Convenient, well-stocked, reasonably priced, lovely little shop
Evelyn Collins (03/07/2025, 06:58):
The staff seem to be getting ruder and more miserable each time I briefly stop by. I couldn't help but notice that they've even managed to poach the most impolite bloke in the Lothians from Scotmid now, of all places. Quite a feat, I must say. Cheers!
Barbara Lee (01/07/2025, 21:54):
Lovely little corner shop, could do with a wider range of vegetarian options in the chilled snack area.
Matthew Howard (26/06/2025, 16:54):
Today, a rather arrogant chap working at the supermarket, a tall bloke whom I shan't name, informed me that I couldn't return a faulty item — a phone cable — because I'd had it for 5 months. I had a receipt and it was still under warranty, but he insisted, "You only have 30 days!" Faulty items, however, are handled differently, which he seemed unaware of, despite being one of the managers. I lodged a complaint with customer service about this frustrating encounter.
Ralph Wilson (23/06/2025, 09:03):
A rather quaint little store with a somewhat restricted selection of goods.
Matthew Rodriguez (17/06/2025, 13:39):
Alright for its size. There's free parking outside and it had all the essentials. The bakery section was a tad on the small side though.
Nicole Cruz (10/06/2025, 04:40):
The staff and management at Sainsbury's are quite rude and show disrespect towards customers. It was disappointing to receive such treatment, especially when trying to address a legitimate issue with a product being off. It appears that this is a common problem based on other reviews, so Sainsbury's should definitely take notice. Despite being a daily customer for over 18 months, I have decided not to return.
