I was impressed by the prompt response to my email regarding a rush alteration for a prom dress at Tailor. The staff were incredibly friendly, and when I returned with my daughter to pick up her altered dress, I initially found it unsatisfactory. However, the tailor was brought out to assess the situation, and within 30 minutes, the necessary adjustments were made. I also requested the addition of a clip to the back of the dress, which they were more than happy to accommodate. The tailor did an exceptional job, and I was thrilled when my daughter tried on the dress again. I highly recommend this company. I've recently shed some pounds and seldom found occasion to don a suit in recent years. Nonetheless, I purchased a new one last year and only sported it thrice, finding the last two wears uncomfortable due to weight loss. Acting on a recommendation, I visited this establishment and had my entire suit tailored to fit my new physique. The service wasn't exactly budget-friendly but neither was it exorbitant, and the results were superb. They took in the waist, shortened the trousers (I haven't shrunk!), adjusted the jacket's waist, and tightened loose areas on the sleeves. I'm delighted with the outcome as it spared me the expense of purchasing a new suit, which would have far exceeded the £80 spent to refine a good albeit oversized suit. Exceptional customer service and turnaround time.

What a jolly good service I received at this establishment! My trousers were dreadfully torn in the seat, and I was in desperate need of a fix on the spot (for obvious reasons, of course). To my delight, they gladly made an exception to their usual policy and repaired them with a cheerful attitude. I must express my deep disappointment with the result of the alterations made to my wedding gown. The dress ended up being much too long for me, causing significant issues on my special day.
Upon my final visit to the shop, the atmosphere was incredibly chaotic with three different wedding parties being attended to simultaneously, resulting in a lack of space for everyone.
After initially submitting my dress for alterations, I was instructed to return in two weeks. When I arrived to pick up my dress, the staff member asked if I wanted to try it on or simply take it home. Opting to try it on, I was informed at the last minute that the hemming done was only temporary. This should have raised a major concern for me, as I could have unknowingly taken home an incomplete dress if not for the timely intervention of the staff member.
The only positive aspect of the alterations was the prompt turnaround time.
