Plenty of decent furniture, but the prices are a bit steep for a thrift store, if you ask me. They're charging £2 for a paperback book, when you can get 5 for a pound at any other charity shop.
Bruce Smith (19/07/2025, 04:24):
Purchased a couple of bits and bobs from this store, well chuffed with what I got.

Hello there, just wondering if this establishment happens to offer any video games for PS4 and Xbox One, as well as accessories for gaming? Cheers!
Cynthia Robinson (10/07/2025, 22:22):
I was strolling out of the thrift store yesterday when one of the ladies inquired about my search for a small table. I shared my quest, and she promptly retrieved the perfect piece from the expansive storeroom at the rear. While the top had some minor scratches, it was ideal. After sanding and varnishing the top, my son returned from school and instantly took a liking to it (as did I). Pro tip: Don't hesitate to consult the staff; they are delightful and well-informed.

Huge thrift store, loads of furniture and bits and bobs. My daughter picked up a bunch of books from the extensive range they had on offer.

Just bought a big piece of furniture at such a reasonable price from this thrift store, you know. As I was paying, two chaps came along, carried it out, and popped it in my van. Couldn't be happier with the service, mate. Cheers!

My recent voyage to this thrift store was an absolute pleasure, thanks to the wonderful staff I had the pleasure of encountering. It seems that some, if not all, are volunteers, but you wouldn't be able to tell. They were all so cheerful, kind, and helpful!

A heartfelt thanks to Alison, Donna, and David. Your outstanding service is truly appreciated, and I encourage you to continue with your excellent work!
Charles Cox (27/06/2025, 15:08):
Quite disappointed that you're unable to assist folks by collecting bags of household goods, particularly when they lack transportation.
Sara Garcia (13/06/2025, 05:07):
As a volunteer at a British charity shop, they are truly brilliant at supporting volunteers in need of assistance.
Russell Wilson (11/06/2025, 06:44):
Purchased a bed from this place, it was quite pricey but I was in desperate need of it. When it arrived, they just left it disassembled. I had to pay 25 for delivery and 250 for the bed, so I assumed it would come ready to use. If I wanted to assemble it myself, I could have bought a cheaper one for 100 instead. It's a two-person job to put together as it's very heavy and to my surprise, it was covered in dog hair. I even found the original price tag on one of the boards, showing it should have been 200 instead of the 250 they charged me. It's disgraceful for a charity organization. I won't be returning.
Christopher Anderson (11/06/2025, 05:47):
What a smashing experience, I must say! Two shops rolled into one, both boasting some bloomin' fantastic bargains. Cheers to that!
Ryan Lewis (08/06/2025, 09:09):
The BHF store was a proper gem, with a fabulously well-organized layout and some truly helpful staff members.
Melissa Hamilton (06/06/2025, 11:25):
Fantastic finds at the thrift store!
Christine Thomas (03/06/2025, 11:26):
I popped into the thrift store today on the hunt for a few bits and bobs. Came across Lorna, who was an absolute gem! She was so friendly and super helpful, her customer service skills were top-notch. A real pleasure to deal with, will definitely be back!
Riley Young (01/06/2025, 07:47):
While procuring an item at the shop, the lady staff member who assisted me failed to even raise her head or utter a single word to request payment, very discourteous behavior overall.
