I was in need of a headlight bulb for my car. The online system led me to the wrong option, but when I took it to the store for installation, a staff member quickly identified the issue. I also realized that my other headlamp needed replacing. The process of returning the incorrect bulb and purchasing a twin pack of the correct size was hassle-free. The staff were extremely helpful and provided great service, even on a rainy day.

Today I visited the auto parts store and the fellow who handles battery checks and all sorts of car questions is truly top-notch, he always is. A real asset to the store. Exceptional customer service as usual.

Service was very slow due to only one person working while there were about ten people waiting in line. Other employees were in the store but not assisting the cashier. It's not her fault, it's poor management of the store during busy times. They shouldn't have the cashier also responsible for fitting car batteries when the queue is so long. This seems to be a common trend in many shops lately, like Lloyds pharmacy and a few others, with extremely poor service at the tills. 👎

Outstanding service. Brought my automobile in for an engine oil top-up and received a complimentary 5-point car inspection. Discovered my oil level was sufficient, so I received a reimbursement for the oil I had bought. The staff was exceptional as well.

I must say, this visit to the Halfords store wasn't too shabby. The staff were really friendly and knew their stuff, they were more than willing to help out. I picked up a new e-bike that was actually ready a day before expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The team member who showed me how everything worked was really down to earth and genuinely excited about my purchase. Great experience overall!

I ordered a bike for my son's birthday from the auto parts store. They said they would get in touch with me when it was ready for pick up. After not hearing anything, on the day of my son's birthday celebration, I tried calling the store number, but ended up being redirected to a call center in South Africa twice! The first call was abruptly ended as soon as I inquired about their location. Finally, I was told by the call center that the bike was actually waiting for me at the store, contradicting what the staff had previously informed me about being contacted.

Overall, it was not a pleasant experience at all.

My review for this store is a solid 5 stars, thanks to Ewan's dedication and kindness in replacing my car's headlights on a bitterly cold day. It was the 21st of December, 2024. I had visited the store 48 hours prior for the same issue, but as I drove along the dark, rainy country roads, I realized the problem persisted - I couldn't see properly. It was quite a nerve-wracking and stressful situation, constantly toggling my high beams even on roads with street lights. Essentially, I was driving in the dark. Huge thanks to Ewan, without his assistance, I wouldn't have been safe driving to Pitlochry for Christmas.

Visited on 16/06. The service was painfully slow, mate. Had me waiting for like 20 minutes, and there were three other blokes lined up as well. The customer being served had to return something but forgot her bank card, so she had to dash out to the car, which took ages. Then the next bloke ordered a roof rack and box, and two staff members were helping him while the rest of us were left standing in the queue with no one at the tills. No one thought to call over more staff to assist, even though there were at least two others wandering about in the bike section. I was just trying to buy some cleaning products, while the other two customers in the queue were getting bulbs and car mats – transactions that should've been quick as a flash. Absolutely shocking service, I tell you.

What a complete waste of time off work, innit? I popped down to the shop for a free air conditioning pressure check, as I was told it was a must before heading to an Autocentre and seeing an air conditioning specialist. Even though the bloke at the store couldn't find my air conditioning unit under the bonnet of my motor, they were adamant it was compulsory. Since they couldn't figure out where to check my air con pressure, they sent me over to ATS, thinking they might sort me out. Apparently, there was bugger all else Halfords could do, and I'd have to wait 3-4 weeks for an Autocentre appointment regardless. Gave a buzz directly to a local Halfords Autocentre and nabbed an appointment for the next day. Cheers.

I've been really pleased with the camera they suggested and installed for me; it's been a game changer when it comes to parking. I popped in to have some hardware installed for my dash cam in my car and it was completed within an hour. I also had new batteries put in two sets of car keys, which only took 10 minutes. The service was fantastic, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place!

I purchased 2 wiper blades for a tenner extra as they were sold individually instead of as a set. I had ordered a pair on Tuesday, but they turned out to be the wrong blades. The staff were quite helpful, but the computer was causing some delays in processing everything.

Top-notch service from everyone at the auto parts store this morning at 10:00 with a chipped windshield. They inspected it, confirmed it was fixable, and repaired it within just half an hour of my arrival, all for the amazing price of £40.00! I can't praise the team at the store enough, and Willie, who did the repair, is an absolute genius!
