I found meself in a bit of a pickle with the missus, running low on building materials to wrap up our patio project over the September long weekend. But fear not, we managed to get everything sorted and now she's as pleased as punch! As they say, happy wife, happy life, ain't that the truth?
Samantha Reed (29/08/2025, 13:58):
I felt very safe during my visit, as there were plenty of staff members at the checkouts ensuring quick service. Kudos to the hardworking and helpful staff for their dedication to a covid-compliant environment.
Judith Ortiz (29/08/2025, 06:22):
Great deal happening at the moment! Noticed that the shelves at B&Q were a bit sparse, but I reckon they're in the process of restocking.
Leonard Harris (29/08/2025, 01:18):
I popped into B&Q at Bishopbriggs and was pleased to see all the safety measures they have in place. However, during my first visit, I encountered three staff members who came a bit too close for comfort on separate occasions, despite the clear 2m floor markings that I pointed out to them. Thankfully, on my second visit today, the staff were much better. It was the customers not using the hand sanitizer provided that was concerning. It seems like you just can't win!

I popped into the store to get some keys cut, and I must say I was quite impressed that they do it in-house. It's rather high-tech, with a machine that duplicates your key and can make up to 3 copies. I took a quick stroll around B&Q, but didn't stay too long as I'm trying to be mindful of staying at home to help save lives. However, I would recommend it if you're in need of some fresh air, as I was starting to feel a bit cooped up in my flat. But enough of my rambling, time to sign off. 😄

Got meself some proper good deals in the bargain aisle, I did. Snagged meself two rolls of fancy designer wallpaper for just £6, perfect for jazzing up the spare bedroom with a feature wall. And let me tell ya, folks have been admiring it left and right!
The staff there are top-notch, always ready to lend a hand. And that paint mixing station? A real lifesaver, I tell ya.
Sharon Kim (24/08/2025, 21:12):
A tremendous selection of products in the store and top-notch customer service. I was able to find some tiles that were not available at any other location. There's always a wide range of great deals to be found in the clearance section as well. Convenient parking and plenty of other shops in the retail park.
Kelly Perry (23/08/2025, 22:54):
They have an interesting system in place where you buy the timber, then you take it all the way to checkout and pay for it. Later to be told they don't trim treated wood. Needless to say, they should put up a sign to spare customers from all this hassle. I find a lot of the staff at the cashier areas apathetic and disinterested. Not a typical thing for Bishopbriggs.

The toilet USED to be well-kept. Now, it is impossible to walk in.
Alexander Scott (23/08/2025, 14:31):
The staff were absolutely brilliant today, especially the bloke who trimmed the worktop for me, the lady in the kitchen area who assisted me with the base units, and the chap at the register who helped me with loading everything into the car. Top-notch service, couldn't be happier with the help I received. Cheers!
Abigail Roberts (20/08/2025, 04:01):
I was searching for a new drill and came across this website that had some top-notch brands available. The store had ample parking space outside, and the staff was quite helpful when it came to the specific item I was eyeing.
Shirley Morris (19/08/2025, 15:10):
It's so convenient to find all the necessary items for any project in one place! From paints for fencing and sheds to expanding lattices, it seems like I'm hedging my next move by sprucing up the front garden during this lockdown. Stay safe everyone!
Judy Brown (18/08/2025, 18:02):
I must say, the Click and collect service at this store is absolutely dreadful. I was informed that despite the stock checker showing there were several items in stock, they were actually not available in the store and my order would be canceled. This has happened to me three times already this month. Quite frustrating, I must say.
Jean Reynolds (18/08/2025, 12:41):
Huge B&Q with plenty of parking spaces outside. The selection here seems to be better than the stores in Parkhead or Coatbridge, which are usually my go-to spots. The staff at this store were also much more helpful, which can really make a difference if you have any questions.
Janice Cook (18/08/2025, 07:59):
Similar to many B&Q stores. The staff are knowledgeable about where items are located and very helpful when you're in a rush! You can sometimes find a fantastic little bargain in the clearance section, so it's always worth taking a look around. I tend to visit this store quite often 😂 ...
Gloria Morgan (13/08/2025, 00:11):
The experience in the store was quite disappointing, I must say. There was quite a long queue at the checkout and only two tills were open. To make matters worse, one of the tills was dealing with a complaint and no one seemed to be in a hurry to resolve the issue. When I approached the staff for assistance, they appeared indifferent and uninterested. Even though other staff members passed by, no one offered to help or address the situation. It definitely wasn't the level of service I had anticipated. Overall, a very disappointing visit!
Jordan Rogers (12/08/2025, 17:02):
A fantastic all-in-one store just minutes away from our new pad. I deduct a star because, truth be told, it may be a tad on the large side, and we found ourselves meandering around in circles for ages...!!!
Ava Flores (12/08/2025, 06:04):
I found all the bits I needed on their website before heading in. They're taking good Covid19 precautions, though there was a bit of a line at the tills, it moved along pretty swiftly.
Dennis Sanders (11/08/2025, 12:31):
Terrible experience at this particular store. The staff was extremely unpleasant and showed a clear bias. I had been using my family trade card on my phone without any issues until today when a female staff member demanded to see the physical card or ID. I found her tone embarrassing and her behavior insulting. In my opinion, one card per family should be sufficient, but she insisted I purchase another card or I couldn't make my purchase. It seemed to me that she was more interested in selling cards than products. This kind of treatment makes it difficult for customers to return to the store. I had intended to spend over £1000, but her attitude has made me reconsider coming back to the B&Q branch in Bishopbriggs. I felt disrespected and deceived. Consistency and equality in customer service should be a priority for all businesses.
Jack Ross (11/08/2025, 04:55):
We often swing by this place when we're up at the retail park. Yesterday, Douglas 'Dougie' approached us and offered the QR Code to join. I was quite impressed as he was so talkative, especially with my daughter and her future job prospects. She's 16 and he's 73 years old. I just hope she isn't worried that she'll have to work for the next 60 years. I was supposed to retire next year, but because of Tory policies, I now have to work until I'm 67. I hope I can be as positive and as spry as Dougie when I'm his age. He truly is a dream employee. A real asset to B&Q.
Alan Perez (09/08/2025, 17:35):
B&Q - Do you even give a damn anymore? Obviously not, you complete joke of a store.

What a total waste of my time that trip was.
