Fantastic large convenience store offering a wide variety of food items at competitive prices. Conveniently equipped with its own parking lot.
John Morales (11/06/2025, 05:19):
Great variety of food and drinks available at this convenience store. Just keep in mind that it is the main store in Balloch, so they may run low on some items due to the influx of tourists. The staff work efficiently and do their best to assist customers.
Brenda Foster (10/06/2025, 12:09):
Hmm, I'm not completely sold on this store. I might be a tad biased in my opinion, as I tend to measure it against Morrisons and Asda, which offer a wider selection due to their larger size. However, the staff here are lovely - they're friendly and eager to assist. The store consistently stocks everything I require, and I appreciate that they contribute to local charities through their Rewards card program.
Andrea Morales (10/06/2025, 11:57):
I must say, they had a rather grimy restroom for disabled customers. There were some noticeable gaps on the shelves, but the staff was quite accommodating.
Angela Butler (09/06/2025, 17:32):
I must say, the staff were quite helpful, but similar to other supermarkets, the meal deal promotion can be a bit confusing as not all items on the shelf are actually part of the deal and this isn't very clear. It would be great if items not included in the meal deal could be placed in a separate section of the store!
Charlotte Rodriguez (09/06/2025, 10:06):
What a brilliant makeover they've done at our nearby big Co-op! The range of products available is top-notch considering its size, although the selection is still a tad restricted. It may not be a superstore, but it sure does the job!
Roger Lopez (07/06/2025, 18:20):
My mate stopped by, and she was keen on leaving a smashing review for the delightful lass at the kiosk counter for vaping stuff. She guided my mate on how to put together and operate her new vape, and let me tell you, I had one thrilled girlfriend that night! Promote the lass, I say! 😋 ...
Sean Campbell (04/06/2025, 16:46):
Dear Balloch Co-op, I wanted to express my gratitude for taking the time to read my Just Eat notes and making substitutions for items that were out of stock with something similar, as I had requested through the Just Eat platform. Your attention to detail is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much, 2-6-24.
Linda Rodriguez (27/05/2025, 07:57):
I absolutely love our local convenience store because it truly is a wonderful addition to our community. The staff are always so friendly, warm, and helpful. The shelves are always fully stocked, and the produce just keeps getting better and better. The community notice board, second-hand book corner, and community room really help to strengthen the sense of community. I genuinely enjoy shopping there and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
Cheryl Turner (27/05/2025, 03:50):
Great big Co-op, but could do with a larger selection of unpackaged goods - fewer items wrapped in plastic.
Shirley Harris (26/05/2025, 07:27):
Finest grub, unbeatable prices, top-notch team, particularly Tracey - the most brilliantly helpful individual on the West Coast of Scotland!
Ethan Jenkins (23/05/2025, 16:13):
Ah, it's the Co-op! What's there not to love, innit? Brilliant assortment in all sections. Tidy and neat. Friendly and helpful staff, who understand that you're a grown-up and can handle the self-scan on your own (though they're nearby just in case, cheeky wink). Cheers!
Michelle Graham (19/05/2025, 22:32):
The top-notch corner shop in Balloch, I must say! The range of grub, home bits, critter chow, and self-care stuff is proper good. The setup is spot on, makes for a smooth shopping sesh. Only downside is some bits are a tad pricey, like the bread and eggs, bit steep if you ask me.
Charlotte Perry (19/05/2025, 02:17):
Top-notch convenience store in the shire! The staff is absolutely fantastic, always willing to go the extra mile xx
Jack Anderson (19/05/2025, 01:03):
This ain't yer typical corner shop, mate. It's a proper supermarket with a cracking selection of groceries.
Isabella Stewart (18/05/2025, 06:01):
Picked up a newspaper and some tobacco from the corner shop, only to find out that the price of tobacco had gone up by 48p since my last visit. Quite a steep increase in just one week!
Christina Morgan (17/05/2025, 18:22):
What a cracking convenience store, mate! They've got a proper good selection of stuff in there. And the staff, top notch - all dead friendly, they are. Cheers!
Joshua Graham (15/05/2025, 07:50):
I must say, this convenience store is an absolute gem! The frozen section is a real hidden treasure with a fantastic offer of 5 items for just £6.00. It's a real steal!
Jeffrey Moore (14/05/2025, 09:41):
The convenience store is really well stocked and clean. They offer competitive prices and have a great selection of fresh produce.
Randy Jordan (11/05/2025, 19:20):
No staff available, products with incorrect pricing, no one at the checkouts for assistance... Quite dissatisfied.
