The store has a good selection of items, but the cashier was complaining about customers being rude. Perhaps it's because some customers were also being rude! There are always long lines, though.
Adam Richardson (14/06/2025, 19:13):
A delightful shopping experience, it's like popping down to the corner shop. Haven't encountered any issues, great selection of items and more affordable than the big chain stores. The staff is helpful and the place is spotless.
Eugene Sanders (14/06/2025, 12:28):
Enhanced and enlarged grocery store. Broader and larger aisles, stroller and wheelchair accessible.
Martha Cruz (10/06/2025, 18:10):
There's hardly any fresh veg in the shop.
Jean Walker (09/06/2025, 15:04):
Absolutely loving the new Aldi in Alexandria, it's got much more room and a wider variety of products to choose from. Cheers!
Jonathan Moore (06/06/2025, 02:26):
I must say, this store seems to be runnin' a bit short on staff. I've been havin' a hard time findin' the new dates on the oranges, but luckily the kale is still fresh with a good date on it. The staff here are quite helpful, especially considerin' how busy the shop tends to get durin' the day. It's a stressful job, but they handle it well. Cheers!
Sharon Garcia (05/06/2025, 04:27):
The store is fine, but the staff... well, that's another story. I hopped into a short line only for the cashier to inform me she was closing, and proceeded to scan half my items before shooing me away. Reluctantly, I joined another line just to hear an announcement that the short line I had just left was magically "opening up" again, prompting a stampede of customers back to it.

As I finally reached the checkout in my new, longer line, it was painfully clear that the cashier would rather be anywhere else on Earth than at work. I ended up leaving the store later than those who were originally behind me in line due to the constant opening and closing of checkouts, and left feeling frustrated by the staff's attitude.
Kathleen Butler (04/06/2025, 21:19):
Top-notch store, I must say. The prices are absolutely brilliant. The only wee downside is that it's always chock-full of customers, so be prepared to queue at the checkouts. Cheers!
Bruce Fisher (04/06/2025, 12:05):
Conveniently located near the train station, bus stop, and accessible by car. The prices at this store are quite affordable, making it a bargain worth checking out.
Layla Gomez (01/06/2025, 21:09):
I haven't visited Aldi in a couple of weeks. It wasn't too crowded this morning, and I found some great grocery options. I also grabbed a charming kids' raincoat for £9.99 and a tray of beautifully decorated cupcakes for my grandkids. It was a lovely shopping trip!
Richard Green (31/05/2025, 18:46):
I must apologize for the negative feedback I am about to provide for this wonderful grocery store with such a vast selection. The female cashier seemed quite impatient with the previous customer, and by the time she had almost finished processing my items, the customer was still collecting her own purchases. When I greeted her, I received no response, just a vacant stare. She did not speak to me at all and merely pushed my groceries towards me, eager to clear them out of the way for the next customer's items. There was not even a simple "thank you" uttered. The receipt was hastily placed in the bag. Extremely disappointing customer service experience.
Gregory Price (30/05/2025, 10:23):
The fruit and vegetables at this grocery store are always top-notch and fresh! And the prices are surprisingly good too, cheers!
Joe Lopez (24/05/2025, 21:53):
If you're purchasing strawberries from Aldi in Alexandria, ya might wanna think twice before gobblin' 'em up right there in the store. I bought some today, cracked 'em open today, and what did I find? A bunch of squishy, mushy mess that tasted like a wet sponge. Those berries were so rotten, they probably had roots! Seems like they keep 'em out on the shelf till they sprout legs and walk away, so watch out. Asda's got strawberries for the same price, and at least those ones you can actually eat.
Peter Walker (24/05/2025, 19:05):
The staff here really bend over backwards to assist you. Always so polite and friendly. A lovely spot for your grocery shopping needs.
Andrew Harris (24/05/2025, 12:01):
Way better than the store in Gorgie Edinburgh, I must say! The staff are ever so friendly and accommodating, with easy wheelchair access and a convenient car park. They offer a fantastic variety of food, including loose baked potatoes that can be absolute whoppers at times. However, it's a shame that some of their produce is packaged in plastic bags – don't they know it can make things go off faster? Overall, a top-notch grocery store, if you ask me!
Evelyn Garcia (23/05/2025, 22:37):
Great store. The employees are really helpful and friendly. The security staff is also very professional.
Anna Diaz (18/05/2025, 07:53):
Lovely little grocery store, isn't it?
Amber Lopez (17/05/2025, 07:03):
Every time I check the receipt when I get back home, it seems like I've been overcharged. Just today, I noticed that a half dozen free-range eggs were priced at £1.29 with a 75% discount sticker because they were going out of date. However, I was still charged the full price. It's becoming a bit of a pattern at my local grocery store!
Ryan Hill (16/05/2025, 06:10):
The staff were absolutely lovely, the selection of products was fantastic, and the store was spotlessly clean and organized.
Diane Cook (13/05/2025, 02:05):
Spot on, mate. I reckon Lidl and Aldi are top choices compared to the massive supermarket chains. They offer fair prices all around and none of that rummaging around for yellow stickers. The quality is solid. My only gripe is sometimes they're a bit low on stock. Cheers!
