This was my first visit in more than a year and I must say, I was disappointed to see that the service from the ladies at the counter hasn't improved. Their lack of enthusiasm and customer service skills were quite apparent, as they seemed more interested in chatting about their schedule than assisting customers.

I ventured to this quaint spot for my birthday feast with my hubby and daughter. We were met with a gracious welcome by a charming waitress. Our drinks were promptly taken, followed by our meal order. Our beverages arrived swiftly, yet the appetizers took a good 15 minutes. Daughter opted out, husband relished a prawn cocktail which he found delightful. I opted for lentil and ham soup, and to my dismay, it turned out to be quite a letdown. It lacked lentils, was overly watery, and there was no sign of ham. To make matters worse, there were large onion chunks that were rather off-putting. I barely managed a few spoonfuls before giving up. No one inquired about our satisfaction with the food, and a different waitress cleared the plate without a word. As for the main courses, husband savored monkfish scampi (once again, superb) and daughter enjoyed a burger and fries, which she found equally delightful. I ordered carbonara, but to my dismay, it resembled scrambled eggs on a plate. Despite my hunger, I could only manage a couple of bites due to its unappealing texture. Our food went unattended until my companions were nearly done. Finally, the waitress inquired about our meals, and I sadly explained my dissatisfaction. She promptly apologized and offered to bring a replacement dish. However, I declined as my party had finished their meals and I didn't want to eat alone. The waitress revealed that a trainee chef had prepared my initial dish. Although a fresh plate of carbonara, crafted by the head chef, was presented, I had lost my appetite at that point. I believe this establishment has promise, but it may be some time before I return.

Incredible coffee, lovely ambience, and staff that is so welcoming! It's always my top choice for a flawless cup. I can't recommend it enough!

An amazing spot for a lovely family lunch or brunch. The atmosphere with those old apothecary shelves is just charming. They host events and even children's birthday parties. We were fortunate to taste their food, which was outstanding! Although we didn't indulge in any cakes, they certainly looked delightful. £17 for scampi that was overcooked and came without any salad. The service left a lot to be desired, as I was given a tin of beer when I inquired about the draught or bottled beers available. On the bright side, the coffee and cakes were quite enjoyable.

The staff was really polite and well-mannered. I must say, the chocolate cannoli was absolutely fantastic, and the brownie was also very enjoyable. The place was beautifully decorated and had a great selection of products. And let's not forget to mention the lovely coffee they serve. Overall, a delightful experience!

While we were in the neighborhood, they were the only ones who managed to seat us for lunch without a 30-minute wait. Appreciate that 😍 I ended up trying the beef taco and it was delicious!

We popped in for brekkie on a Saturday morning.
The full English brekkie was top-notch, all well-prepped and even some proper crunchy bacon!
The staff were dead friendly, and I'll definitely be making a return.
Given the quality of the nosh, it's worth the wait, so no grumbles from me.

The service was quite good and the staff were lovely. The food was alright. We used a voucher.
I had the goats cheese starter and the burger main, which was a bit dry but decent.
My wife had the prawn cocktail and the chicken milanese, which was delicious with the gremolata and salsa verde.
