Exploring Next Outlet in Livingston: A Shopper's Perspective

Nestled within the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet, the Next Outlet in Livingston offers a unique shopping experience with its range of clothing and homeware products. However, reviews from customers provide a mixed bag of experiences ranging from pleasant surprises to notable frustrations.

NFC Mobile Payments and Quick Visit Convenience

Shoppers appreciate the modern NFC mobile payments that streamline the checkout process, making transactions quick and efficient. However, with no facility for in-store pick-up, visitors often find themselves navigating through crowded aisles crammed with clothing items, which some likened to a “jumble sale.” For a quick visit, it’s essential to plan accordingly, especially during peak hours when the store tends to be busier.

Accessibility and Service Options

The Next Outlet is committed to ensuring accessibility for all shoppers. It features a wheelchair-accessible entrance and offers a wheelchair-accessible car park, providing convenience for those requiring extra assistance. Despite these efforts, comments regarding the layout highlight that the store may not be as accommodating when it comes to navigation.

In-Store Shopping Experience

While many customers enjoy in-store shopping, stating there are plenty of bargains to be found, others express disappointment over the organization of the stock. The clothing racks are often described as too close together, leading to a chaotic atmosphere. Shoppers note that it’s crucial to take time to rummage through the items since the selection can greatly vary depending on timing and inventory.

Payment Options: Credit and Debit Cards

Next Outlet accepts various payment options, including credit cards and debit cards, catering to a wide array of shoppers. Despite this flexibility, the lack of changing rooms has been a recurring complaint; customers often walk away without purchasing anything after realizing they cannot try on items.

Customer Service and On-Site Experiences

The staff at Next Outlet frequently receive praise for their friendliness and willingness to assist. Many customers have highlighted positive interactions where staff eagerly helped locate sizes or offered to check other stores for items that were out of stock. However, negative experiences have also surfaced regarding customer service, particularly around mispriced items and long waiting times at checkout.

Conclusion: Worth a Visit?

Ultimately, visiting the Next Outlet in Livingston can yield great on-site services and remarkable deals, especially for those who don’t mind sifting through a clutter. While it may not have the most organized layout and lacks fitting rooms, the potential for significant savings on clothing makes it worth considering. For those looking for a shopping adventure filled with both challenges and rewards, Next Outlet remains an intriguing destination.

Just another rip off store with low-quality clothes marked up at outrageous prices, mate.
Jessica Harris (28/07/2025, 21:02):
Great find if you're on the hunt for summer deals, plenty of last season's items to choose from.
Bobby Gonzalez (23/07/2025, 09:50):
Fantastic bargains, extensive range of fashion for men, women, and children, as well as a small but intriguing home goods section. You never know what amazing deal you might stumble upon at this department store!
Evelyn Anderson (22/07/2025, 10:12):
A bit overwhelming, tons of clothes crammed together in too many rows. Not the most enjoyable experience, but I reckon it's a top spot for some retail therapy.
Eugene Perez (21/07/2025, 08:37):
Super deals! Just snagged a shirt and some jeans for a night out for less than £30!!
Ashley Patterson (19/07/2025, 21:36):
Absolutely love this department store! It's a fantastic spot to score some great deals, similar to a high-end version of TK Maxx. The only downside for me is that there's just so much to sift through, it can be a bit overwhelming.
Gerald Miller (18/07/2025, 22:04):
Definitely an improvement over the Forge retail park store. The selection of adult clothing is much superior here.
Doris Richardson (17/07/2025, 23:58):
Absolutely smashing place to do a spot of shopping, I must say! The staff are simply delightful and I managed to score some real bargains. Top-notch experience all around!
Brian Walker (17/07/2025, 13:25):
I always leave this store with a little something, today I bought two complete outfits for a fantastic price. The staff are always so pleasant and helpful, I absolutely adore this store.
Harold Cook (16/07/2025, 17:40):
Great bargains in this store. Definitely worth checking out!
Mia Wilson (16/07/2025, 04:49):
Marvelous outlet spot, with an extensive selection. Nonetheless, returns are often not permitted at most stores within the outlet mall.
Nicholas Taylor (16/07/2025, 00:26):
I must say, my visit to the department store was quite underwhelming. It seems they only cater to extreme sizes, either very small or extra extra large. The sales they promote seem to be living off their past reputation from back in 1998 when they were actually worth attending.
Joyce Gonzalez (15/07/2025, 01:21):
Not too shabby for budget-friendly apparel that was a bit steeply priced to begin with, eh?
Daisy Scott (10/07/2025, 10:01):
I must say, I do enjoy a browse around a Next clearance store. However, the one I recently visited didn't quite meet my expectations compared to others I've frequented. The assortment of shoes was rather disorganized, with sizes all over the place and not easy to find. Additionally, many of the coat hangers had incorrect sizing labels, making it tricky to locate the right fit.
Brandon Morris (09/07/2025, 07:24):
This particular department store can be found nestled within the McArthur Glen designer outlet. They provide a variety of clothing options at reduced prices, as they offer end-of-line products. Additionally, they carry an assortment of homeware items for bedrooms, living rooms, and more. Located beneath the multi-story car park, this store's signal may drop out when you venture to that area of the shopping center. Situated towards the back of the center, you'll need to navigate the one-way system in place to reach it.
Roy Powell (09/07/2025, 06:52):
Excellent discounts available on both own-brand and designer clothing.
Patricia Reed (07/07/2025, 17:08):
The staff were ever so friendly and there were some absolutely cracking deals to be found.
Amanda Fisher (07/07/2025, 01:29):
The selection of products and sizes at this department store is fantastic, covering a wide range of clothing and accessories. The only issue I encountered was the store's untidiness, with many garments strewn across the floor.
Jean Hill (06/07/2025, 12:50):
The range of toddler boys' clothes is rather limited, and I must say, skinny jeans for toddlers? Who on earth came up with that idea?
Allison Brown (06/07/2025, 07:29):
I was outside waiting for Google to ask me for a review, but alas, no assistance here, I'm afraid.
