Exploring Livingston Designer Outlet: A Comprehensive Guide

Livingston Designer Outlet, located in the heart of Livingston, is a shopping haven for both locals and visitors. With its unique offerings and extensive range of shops, it caters to all kinds of shoppers. Here’s everything you need to know before you visit.

Parking Options

When it comes to parking, Livingston Designer Outlet offers a paid multi-storey car park and a paid parking lot where rates are competitive at just 50p per hour. For those needing accessible options, there is a wheelchair-accessible car park. Unfortunately, several visitors have reported difficulties with parking enforcement, highlighting the importance of checking your ticket validity to avoid unexpected fines. For a more budget-friendly option, there is also a free parking lot available for shoppers. However, be cautious about the two-hour parking limit often enforced during peak hours.

Shop 'Til You Drop

The outlet boasts an impressive selection of both high-end brands and everyday shops. You’ll find popular names like Nike, Adidas, and Primark, alongside boutique stores offering something a little different. Many shoppers appreciate the in-store shopping experience, noting the excellent variety and availability across most stores. However, expectations should be managed; while the outlet does offer some discounts, not every store features significant markdowns on their products compared to regular retail price points.

Food and On-Site Services

Food choices within the outlet can be varied, though some visitors suggest a more vibrant selection of healthy options would enhance the experience. The food court features multiple outlets, catering to diverse tastes, including a well-received Wetherspoon and several fast-food chains. For families, the mall also provides engaging on-site services like an indoor climbing wall and ping pong tables to keep kids entertained while parents shop. Visitors have noted that despite the cleanliness and decor, certain dining facilities could use improvement, particularly regarding restroom conditions.

Payment Flexibility

Livingston Designer Outlet accommodates various payment methods to enhance convenience for shoppers. You can use credit cards, debit cards, or even NFC mobile payments for contactless transactions. This flexibility makes it easy to manage your purchases without hassle.

Accessibility Matters

While many aspects of Livingston Designer Outlet are designed to be accessible, some customers have reported issues with the wheelchair-accessible entrance and lifts. It’s advisable for visitors with mobility challenges to plan their trip accordingly and consider calling ahead for updates on accessibility features.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, Livingston Designer Outlet provides a substantial shopping experience with a blend of mainstream brands and unique retailers. While the parking situation raises concerns for some, the variety of shops, food options, and overall atmosphere make it worth a visit. Whether you are hunting for great deals or simply looking for a fun day out with family and friends, this outlet mall has something for everyone. Don’t forget to check opening hours before you go, as many restaurants remain open later than the shops.

You can get go karts for getting around, lol. Honestly, one of the best shopping centers I've visited in a long time.
Jason Campbell (08/07/2025, 19:56):
This is one of my favorite spots to enjoy a full day, and there's the other center MacArthur Glen where you can score fantastic discounts starting at 30% off. Both of these spots are immaculate, no rough groups loitering, no soccer jerseys, no yelling. Just good times in a secure environment for children to shop or grab a juice and hang out with friends. The stores offer a great selection, whether you're into fancy labels or not. And there's always an M&S for your large undies or thongs. I neglected to flaunt my snapshot while I was out shopping at Livingston center.
Mark Gonzalez (08/07/2025, 17:34):
Convenient parking and a wide selection of shops make this outlet mall a great spot for family shopping. Plenty of dining options, including a food court, ensure everyone stays fueled up. The kids will be delighted by the many rides throughout the mall, so make sure to have some £1 coins handy. While you won't find high-end designer items, there are still plenty of great deals from popular brands like Gap, Next, Nike, and more.
Wayne Morris (05/07/2025, 06:51):
I swung by on a weekday, so it was quite peaceful. I've checked out a bunch of outlet centers before, all of them outdoors, but this was my first indoors, more akin to a traditional shopping mall. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by how top-notch the place was. The facility itself was spotless, with mellow tunes floating in the air. They had a diverse selection of designer stores to browse through, most offering generous discounts off the regular prices. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I'd absolutely suggest stopping by, and personally, I'll be returning for sure.
Julia Anderson (04/07/2025, 21:24):
A great spot to kick off your day with a coffee and a pastry before exploring the shops.
Kimberly Wilson (03/07/2025, 21:30):
If you're keen on a spot of shopping while staying sheltered from the elements, then this spot is just what you need. It's an unforgettable shopping experience all under one roof, catering to those with mid-range and slightly higher budgets.

There are occasional deals on items for those on mid to high budgets, allowing you to snag some fantastic bargains. During my last visit, I managed to score amazing deals on Skechers and Fossil products.

Moreover, the place boasts all the amenities you could ask for, along with a decent food court and selection of restaurants. And don't fret about parking – it's covered and costs just 50p per hour. Don't miss out on this gem!

As an SEO specialist for a blog focusing on Outlet malls, I may rephrase the comment above in English with a touch of British accent:

"This Shopping Centre in Scotland is truly a gem! It's bustling with activity and is a must-visit for all shopping enthusiasts. I'd rate it 5 stars for its impeccable cleanliness. The food court offers ample seating, and the festive Christmas decorations with twinkling lights add to the charm. You'll find plenty of parking spaces at the multi-storey car park. From food and fashion to games and adventures, this place has it all!"
Janet Gutierrez (02/07/2025, 19:17):
It's got everything, quite spacious, you'll need a few hours to explore it all.
Jesse Kelly (02/07/2025, 12:14):
This mall is quite lovely, offering a delightful array of shops where one can easily find gifts for others and treats for oneself.
Victoria Morgan (01/07/2025, 07:31):
Definitely one of the top outlet malls we've checked out in Scotland!
Emily Harris (29/06/2025, 19:46):
What a splendid day out! The variety of shops and abundance of dining options are truly delightful. Additionally, the easy parking adds to the overall convenience of the experience.
Eugene Jackson (29/06/2025, 07:45):
This outlet mall is simply the best I've ever visited! I'm already counting down the days until I can return for more shopping x
Stephanie Perez (29/06/2025, 03:14):
First off, let me tell you that this place is not exactly disability-friendly. My son had a bit of trouble with the lift - the doors wouldn't close and none of them seemed to be working properly. I tried pressing the button but the doors just wouldn’t open. If you have mobility issues, you might find yourself a bit stuck there, especially in the parking area. Sadly, I had to leave my son behind for a bit. On a brighter note, I highly suggest popping into Lindor where we were greeted by the lovely worker Anna, who was an absolute gem and even gave us some free chocolate. Big shout out to Anna for turning our day around!
Debra Gray (28/06/2025, 08:19):
There are loads of shops but not much stuff that I was looking for. It's all very cutting-edge fashion, not really my cup of tea. Marks and Spencer seem to be sticking to their guns catering to the older folk. I might be considered old myself but their clothes aren't for me. The selection is a bit limited, and the fashion is a bit too out there for my taste. It's a fantastic spot if you're into high-fashion clothing.
Edward Graham (27/06/2025, 19:32):
The variety of high-quality options is commendable, although the abundance of clothing stores may be a tad overwhelming.
Roy Barnes (27/06/2025, 08:49):
A splendid spot for shopping, particularly today. I managed to snag an average discount of 30% at various stores such as Nike, Adidas, NB, Puma, Under Armour, and more.

The outlet mall is simply colossal and conveniently reachable via public transportation. Without a doubt, I shall return to this delightful shopping destination.
Bradley Clark (27/06/2025, 05:22):
Well mate, let me tell ya, it's a right shame when me and me mate catch a proper arse-kicking just for havin' a board or a scooter in hand at the outlet mall. It's a real bummer when security kicks us out for no good reason, innit?
Lawrence Robinson (26/06/2025, 13:21):
The outlet mall has definitely gotten better since our last visit. Both sections had all the things we were looking for, though the only downside was the unreliable bus service back to Queensferry. With Livingston just 20 minutes away and offering something for everyone (especially on a busy Tuesday morning), it really highlights how disappointing Edinburgh can be. There's hardly a reason to go into the city anymore.
Helen Adams (25/06/2025, 21:57):
While visiting my family, they suggested checking out the outlet mall. I must say, I was quite impressed with the variety of stores, the overall cleanliness, amenities, and the atmosphere. It was a jolly good experience!
Gabriel Williams (18/06/2025, 16:49):
Discovering fabulous stores and a delicious food court is a breeze!
