Spacious store offering a wide range of items from clothing to gardening supplies. There's a cafe on the upper floor that can be reached by elevator, providing a lovely view of the bay and football field. The cafe staff were friendly and helpful, and the menu offered a great selection with delicious homemade baked goods.
Gregory Coleman (20/08/2025, 07:45):
Discovered by pure chance, this hidden gem is tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Despite its name, one might mistake it for just another touristy leather goods store. However, surprise awaits as you step inside – the upper floor houses a wonderful restaurant/café offering breathtaking views, while downstairs is a vast emporium stocked with everything from groceries to outdoor gear and clothing. Aside from the shopping bags seen at the checkout, there was no blatant branding or promotion. This massive establishment remains a well-kept secret, and we wouldn't have stumbled upon it if not for the public car park outside.
Richard Ortiz (19/08/2025, 20:27):
The grub was top-notch, mate! Had meself a crackin' beef pie with chips and veg, while the ol' hubby went for some scampi. The cafe was spotless and the nosh was cooked fresh as a daisy. That beef pie was chock-full of tasty meat, and the scampi portion was massive. Place was buzzin' busy, they handed us a buzzer and we had a gander 'round the shop for a quarter-hour.

Let me tell ya, that shop's a proper treasure trove. Got all sorts of gear you never knew you needed. And if you're after a bargain, this is the spot. Stock up on all your laundry bits like washing powder and softener while you're at it. Cheers!

It's an absolute gem for shopping and browsing. I must give a shoutout to the staff - always helpful, friendly, and just all-around lovely people.
Justin Foster (15/08/2025, 23:08):
Filled to the brim with a plethora of items you won't find in your usual stores. Plus, there's a dine-in option available. They even have special sections for different seasons like summer, Christmas, and Halloween. Be prepared for lengthy lines during peak holiday times. The only downside was the breakfast I had delivered – the eggs were slightly undercooked and the sausages left something to be desired.
Logan Williams (14/08/2025, 23:04):
Spotty Bag never disappoints! Whether you're a construction company in need of a crucial tool you forgot at home or simply looking for Halloween or Christmas decorations, they've got you covered.

THE TOP SHOP IN SCOTLAND. The Spotty Bag Shop is a well-known treasure trove, offering an extensive range of products including workwear, casual attire, tools, kitchenware, home decor, food, and beverages... and the list goes on. Their prices are incredibly affordable, ensuring you'll always discover something essential. The team is unfailingly friendly and accommodating. If you happen to be in the vicinity, make sure to pay a visit - you simply cannot afford to overlook it! 🫶🫶🫶

This Discount store used to be top-notch, mate. I could always find bigger sizes there, but lately they're as rare as hen's teeth. The cafe might seem fancy, but when we popped in for a brew, we were told it was too early for a sarnie. We asked if there was anything like a brekkie roll on offer, only to be met with a flat-out no. It was only as we were heading out the door that I spotted some biccies available. The server seemed totally uninterested and couldn't be bothered to mention the biscuits or provide any helpful info. Honestly, it felt like she was looking down her nose at us punters.
Patricia Nguyen (10/08/2025, 22:15):
During me bus tour, the driver brought us to this wonderful place called the Spotty Bag Shop. I tell you, I was quite impressed! I ended up purchasing two pairs of ladies trousers for just £12.99 each. The quality of the material was surprisingly good for the price. I regret not grabbing four pairs! Afterwards, I popped by the restaurant and treated myself to a delicious meal. It was simply delightful.
Ashley Coleman (07/08/2025, 14:08):
It's been a couple of years since my last visit. The shopping experience remains consistent, but there's a noticeable shift towards a more polished aesthetic, which diminishes its Scottish charm slightly. Nonetheless, I must commend their splendid cafe for serving a superb lunch that left me quite satisfied.
Christian Mitchell (04/08/2025, 12:01):
A lovely little store, stocked with a variety of intriguing items at reasonable prices. I visited with my family and we found several things that caught our eye. After shopping, we went upstairs to the cozy cafe. While the prices were a tad higher, we had a delightful meal. The tomato soup of the day was rich and satisfying, served with a small bread roll. The rest of my family savored the delicious toasties.
Overall, it's a charming shop with friendly staff, but some items may lean towards the pricey side.
Angela Hughes (03/08/2025, 16:18):
You know, when you pop into this place, it's like you just can't resist grabbing a few extra bits and bobs. They've got such a wide range of stuff and the shop is pretty spacious, so you always end up spotting something you just have to have.

And let me tell you, their deals are top-notch.

Oh, and don't even get me started on the restaurant upstairs - great value for your money and it's always buzzing with people. Surprisingly though, you don't have to wait long to be seated.

But fair warning, mate: this place is an absolute blast to shop at, especially for the little ones who will definitely spot a toy (or two) they simply must have.
John Young (01/08/2025, 03:27):
I must say, the establishment had its own restaurant that was exceptionally well-managed, offering delicious food at very affordable prices.
I was equally impressed by the store, as it had a wide variety of items for sale including tools, home decor, clothing, and even Christmas decorations – you name it, they had it.
The parking facilities were more than sufficient, making it convenient for customers. I will definitely be coming back for more shopping in the future.
Daisy Walker (24/07/2025, 16:28):
Excellent place to shop! They practically have everything you need. Definitely worth checking out.
Shirley Morales (22/07/2025, 06:16):
Recently rendezvoused with the kin for a midday meal at the Spotty Bag Shop, and let me tell you, the place is quite something. It seems they've got a bit of everything in there.

The café itself was delightful and immaculate, boasting lovely vistas out to the sea.

We decided on 2 portions of Fish and Chips and 2 servings of Bacon, Egg, and Chips. You'd think it wouldn't be too challenging, right?

But lo and behold, when the victuals arrived, they appeared... well, overdone. The fish seemed so tough that a hammer and chisel would have been more appropriate utensils than a mere knife and fork. Once we managed to break through the crispy batter, the fish inside was desiccated and lackluster. And the chips? Completely devoid of any potato texture due to being overly fried.

We brought these issues to the attention of our server, who offered an apology and mentioned she'd speak to the kitchen. However, there was no offer to replace our meals or even a simple acknowledgment of our dissatisfaction. It leaves one wondering why they bother to inquire if everything is satisfactory if they don't intend to make amends when a patron voices their discontent.

Upon settling the bill, we were once again asked about our dining experience. I reiterated the problems we encountered. To my dismay, the server didn't even acknowledge my concerns, simply stating the amount owed without any gesture to rectify the situation despite the ruined meal.

It's evident that customer service isn't a priority at this café. Needless to say, we shan't be returning anytime soon.
Stephen Cruz (21/07/2025, 08:37):
The store is brilliant and the staff are very friendly. However, I must give a 1-star rating due to my experience in the cafe. The service was absolutely terrible. We waited for 20 minutes and saw other customers who arrived after us being served before us. Eventually, we decided to leave and inquire about the situation. The response we received was quite rude, as they basically accused us of lying. It's really disappointing.
Leonard Collins (17/07/2025, 21:54):
I absolutely adore delving into all the goodies and then making my way upstairs for a delightful lunch with a stunning view.
Ronald Ramos (17/07/2025, 19:02):
Within these walls lies everything you could imagine, including a wonderful café on the upper level that offers delicious food at affordable prices. It tends to get quite busy, so I recommend arriving early for breakfast. For lunch, aim to be there around 11:30 am to take advantage of the lunch menu. The products sold downstairs can be hit or miss, with some unknown brands that are overpriced and of poor quality, to be honest.
Billy Peterson (16/07/2025, 14:47):
What a discovery!

I've been told it's been around forever, but my first visit was absolutely amazing.

Delightful Cullen skink, coffee and cakes with stunning sea views upstairs, and a true treasure trove downstairs.

I couldn't find a single category missing in the shopping area and adored the outdoor clothing section.

I've revisited countless times since then :-)
Keith Roberts (16/07/2025, 07:22):
Just popped in for a spot of lunch. The place was absolutely buzzing - had to wait a good 30 minutes for a table! Made the most of it though by having a wander around the store. So many great finds!
