The views from the harbor looking out to sea are truly splendid, I must say. The harbor is quite lovely itself, with a plethora of ships docked. Strolling around the port and taking in the vistas is a delightful experience, or you could opt for a boat tour to the Isle of May.
We spent a day here and embarked on a walk from here to Elie, which I highly recommend. It took us a good 3-4 hours to meander along the waterside, soaking in the breathtaking scenery. We made several stops to savor the views and grab a bite to eat. Just be sure to catch the last bus!

Lovely little harbor, especially when the sun decides to make an appearance. There are plenty of options for tasty fish and chips nearby, and The Waterfront restaurant right on the harbor is top-notch. There's also a spacious and affordable car park right at the harbor. It's conveniently close to St Andrews and other charming villages. The only downside is the absence of a good old-fashioned pub right on the harbor.

I was dead set on snagging a shot at the lighthouse, but no one had a clue on how to get there. The info kiosk sent us on a wild-goose chase to the wrong pier. Eventually, we found our way and snapped our pics, but it's quite the trek from the parking lot. Decent grub options in the vicinity. The loos are gratis and passable.

Driving along the Fife coastal route after the highland game at St. Andrews in late July was a real treat. We found ourselves feeling peckish and decided to pull into Anstruther harbor for some delicious fish and chips. The car parks were a bit on the small and packed side though!

Always a pleasure to stop by. The restroom facilities are top-notch, complete with refreshing showers. Some of the shops can be a bit on the expensive side. There are three fantastic spots for fish and chips, all overlooking the charming harbor. Cheers!

I reckon folks are dishing out top marks to this spot 'cause it's easy on the eyes. But if you're after a spot to set sail, steer clear - the pontoon berths are all clogged up with silt, facilities only open up shop at 8am (merely the public loos with a shower), and they'll whack you for FORTY QUID for a 9-meter boat. What a complete laugh.

Ah, what a lovely harbor it was, indeed! We indulged in some exquisite fish and chips with mushy peas – simply delightful. The atmosphere was so inviting and friendly, and the place was impeccably clean. While the parking was reasonably priced, finding a spot was a bit of a challenge. We made sure to explore as many shops as possible and even picked up some Malt whisky. The weather was absolutely delightful, with no rain in sight, and the sandy beach was tranquil and spotless. We are already looking forward to our next visit – it was truly a perfect day by the pier.
