The prices were fair and the shelves were well-stocked. Despite the store being quite busy, they had 5 checkout lanes open so there was no need to wait in line. The self-checkout option also helped speed up the process.

Way better than Morrison's! This store has such a great vibe! I absolutely love their game "beat the cashier", where they quickly throw your items at you and you have to bag them faster than they can toss them! It's such an adrenaline rush. Plus, there aren't too many pensioners around, which is always a bonus. The quality of the food is top-notch! And the prices are so low, Morrison's could definitely take some notes. Even those thieving swines at Tesco could learn a thing or two from this place! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
Joan Cox (15/08/2025, 02:12):
The folks working at the store are always so friendly and ready to lend a hand. Prices are definitely more budget-friendly compared to the larger supermarket chains, and the quality of the groceries is top-notch, if not superior.
Juan Parker (13/08/2025, 20:24):
Top-notch market, upgraded with a fabulous refit. However, the ongoing work in the carpark is a tad disruptive. It reduces capacity significantly and might give you the impression that it's best to explore other options.
Russell Peterson (12/08/2025, 18:42):
The store employees are absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful, a true credit to the Aldi brand!
Donald Hall (12/08/2025, 17:28):
I didn't bother going in. I just passed by. I absolutely can't stand shopping at Aldi or their customer service, haven't stepped foot in there for well over a year now. The farm they supposedly "contract" to produce their sliced sausage isn't all it's cracked up to be...
Jean Long (12/08/2025, 12:37):
I absolutely adore shopping at Aldi, I just wish the fresh foods had a bit longer shelf life, you know?
Sharon Gray (12/08/2025, 07:59):
I've always been a big fan of Aldi, but I have to say, this new location is truly something else. Everything is brand spanking new, with these gorgeous chiller cabinets that somehow manage to make the aisles look even wider and cleaner. It's a real treat shopping here!
Sarah Cruz (10/08/2025, 22:32):
Store ain't that big and bloody 'ell, it's a real challenge to find a staff member if we need to ask any questions.
Madison Gonzalez (10/08/2025, 20:57):
There's always a fantastic range of top-notch grub at reasonable prices compared to the other major supermarkets.
Robert Watson (10/08/2025, 11:51):
A plethora of fine groceries at bargain prices, wouldn't you say?
Janice Phillips (10/08/2025, 06:06):
The best spot for a grocery run with great value for money, no doubt about it!

Don't let any preconceptions hold you back, this place is actually amazing!

You'll find a mix of Range Rovers, Mercedes, BMWs, and Fords in the car park – catering to all walks of life.

The food here is top-notch, mainly Scottish meats on offer... none of that Dutch chicken you'd get at other supermarkets! Fresh produce and a diverse selection of brands... what's not to love?

Time to rethink and stop overpaying for big-name brands when you can get the same quality for less in different packaging. Give it a go!
Kelly Hughes (08/08/2025, 23:30):
I found a splendid array of groceries at remarkably affordable prices, all while maintaining top-notch quality. The staff members were incredibly accommodating and readily assisted me in locating items, even going so far as to fetch them for me. This was particularly helpful for me, as I require the use of an electric scooter due to my disability.
Arthur Barnes (06/08/2025, 12:19):
Not too busy today (Sunday), win some, lose some. Managed to get most of what I needed for Christmas. Have a great holiday season, everyone! Cheers!
Eugene Ramos (05/08/2025, 19:43):
I must say, the fine young lad Aiden who attended to me today was simply delightful and respectful. He has assisted me on multiple occasions, always with a cheerful demeanor. It's wonderful to see Aldi maintaining such a high caliber of staff. 😊 ...
Jennifer Gutierrez (04/08/2025, 19:20):
For the usual shoppers, it's brilliant for nabbing some cracking bargains and deals. Yet, if you're prone to feeling a bit jittery, it can be a tad overwhelming with the massive crowd and bustle. The checkout staff are top-notch though, always willing to ensure your shopping experience ends on a high note. I just wish they did a home delivery service for folks like meself.
Andrew Ford (04/08/2025, 14:53):
Good day, folks! I popped into the Aldi store in Ayr yesterday around four o'clock. When nature called and I had to visit the loo in-store, I was a tad dismayed to find no soap for handwashing. To top it off, the hand dryer wasn't working either! After exiting the facilities, I informed the gentleman manning till number one about the situation. His response was along the lines of "I'm aware of the issue, it's already been reported." So there I was, left with no choice but to dry my hands using toilet paper. Oh, the joys of grocery shopping adventures!
Willie Perry (01/08/2025, 11:36):
Prices are top-notch. The selection might be a bit restricted, but that's just how they roll, you know? However, they make up for it with their weekly deals (even though it can be a tad frustrating when the discount tags only show a measly 1p or 5p off). The staff is on point, especially when it comes to managing the checkout queues. Packing your bags post-payment is much easier and way less chaotic.
Ryan Thomas (01/08/2025, 04:11):
Great prices but dreadful inventory management often leads to incomplete shopping lists. Quite disappointing for an otherwise decent store.
Cheryl Fisher (31/07/2025, 12:30):
With every grocery store in today's market, they could offer slightly lower prices and a greater selection of products. Instead of just their own brand items, they could also provide more competitive options. Overall, the store is good and reasonably priced.

One issue is the parking lot at the Ayr store; it wasn't very large to begin with, and they took away about 8 spaces to build what appears to be a recycling station. However, after months of being there, it still isn't operational.

It's great to see that they have added a self-serve area, which makes the shopping experience much smoother. The value remains the same.
