The staff were absolutely brilliant in assisting me with a hose fitting once I showed them the exact tap. I am truly grateful for their help. Outstanding service!

I just wanted to share a fantastic experience I had with Dougie/Douglas at the B&Q in Bishopbriggs. This gentleman is a true gem, with a wealth of knowledge and experience as a former plumber in his mid-70s. When my family had a plumbing issue, we were lost in the store until we found Dougie. He graciously took the time to assist us, even going as far as providing a part from his own toolbox in the car when it wasn't available in the shop. Not only did he help us find the right parts, but he also taught us how to fix the problem ourselves. Whenever we've had plumbing troubles in the past, Dougie has always been there to lend a hand. I was saddened to hear that he will be retiring in a few months, and I truly hope that B&Q recognizes his dedication and contributions with a well-deserved celebration. Thank you, Dougie, for your exceptional service!

I always keep an eye out for the discounted section when I visit the home improvement store. On this occasion, I initially went in looking for planters but ended up leaving with 2 buckets, 2 planters, and a stunning daisy-like flower that still has plenty of blooms on it, despite its slightly unconventional growth. I simply adore it! It was supposed to be priced at 8.50, but I snagged it for just 4.25 and now it's happily settled in its new planter, filled with rich compost and given a good watering. The store had a fantastic array of pretty flowers in vibrant hues, and if you're lucky, you can find some real bargains.

I've spent over 150 pounds across three visits on some hardy plants, but sadly two of them died within a month. When I tried to return them, I was informed that they do not accept plant returns. I asked to speak with the manager and expressed my dissatisfaction with their policy, as Dobbin guarantees their hardy range for a lifetime. I mentioned that they should have a sign clarifying their return policy. The manager, as a gesture of goodwill, replaced the two plants with new hardy ones. Although the other plants from Dobbin are doing well, this experience has led me to take my business elsewhere.

This B&Q store seems to have a better stock selection compared to others, with a dedicated trade entrance and attractive displays inside. The parking facilities are also very good.
Ella Parker (27/06/2025, 19:30):
I hardly found anything that the online site claimed was available except for 1 item supposedly on aisle 83. Good luck locating that because I couldn't and the staff were clueless as well about the whereabouts of this item in the store even though it's supposedly in stock. I ended up driving to the Coatbridge branch and found it right away. The difference between both stores was significant, and the staff at the Coatbridge store were much more helpful.
Michael Stewart (26/06/2025, 20:46):
The staff was truly amazing during my visit to the home improvement store. I was just looking for tiles and paint for my new bathroom, and they went above and beyond to assist me. They even scheduled a consultation with a colleague who could design my bathroom based on my needs and preferences, all at reasonable prices.
They showed me mockup designs of how they could remodel my bathroom, including various options for tiles, wet wall, and colors. It was truly impressive! With their help, I was able to choose the perfect tiles and bathroom suite for my house and family.
I can't thank them enough for making what could have been a stressful experience into an enjoyable one. The staff was not only friendly but also super helpful, always willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Thank you so much for all your help!

Extensive selection of top-notch items, with hassle-free returns and exceptional customer service.
Grace Reed (20/06/2025, 11:44):
A rather sizable store with an extensive range of goods at competitive prices. Every now and then, the pricing might appear slightly askew for unknown reasons. Yet, this appears to be a common occurrence across all stores, doesn't it?
Randy Kelly (19/06/2025, 19:12):
The staff were so helpful, they answered all my DIY questions and having plants available was a great bonus.
Sarah Gutierrez (19/06/2025, 15:59):
I popped into B&Q the other day and I have to say the experience was quite consistent with their products and customer service. The app does a decent job of helping you find items in-store, and their click & collect service is a breeze. I've also had no issues making returns or exchanging items, everything went smoothly.
Roger Gutierrez (18/06/2025, 01:58):
Found everything we needed at the home improvement store. The app is a real game-changer, it shows you exactly where to find each item in the store. Brilliant concept!
Joyce Howard (17/06/2025, 19:43):
When we popped into the store, there was quite a line at the checkout counter. I thought we'd be standing there for ages, but to my surprise, we were served in no time! Plus, I managed to snag a 20% discount on the wallpaper I purchased. Win-win!
Bobby Peterson (17/06/2025, 05:56):
Absolutely pointless, they claim to have items in stock but when you make the effort to travel all the way from the other side of Glasgow, they don't even have it available for viewing. Utterly disappointing!
Grace Nelson (13/06/2025, 16:55):
I 'ad to get meself a fence latch as me old one 'ad broken and the dog would 'ave escaped without it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this store (and likely all B&Q stores) really takes Covid seriously. Lots of people keepin' their distance and great staff. Not a fan of going places for essentials at the moment due to people's relaxed attitudes, but B&Q were brilliant.
Bryan Davis (12/06/2025, 22:46):
On the hunt for an oven, but was a bit disappointed by the small selection of appliances and kitchen designs available.
Victoria Scott (11/06/2025, 22:14):
I strongly advise against purchasing plants from this establishment. B&Q has a strict no-return policy for plants, which I learned the hard way after buying a pricey premium garden plant that sadly perished within ten weeks. Despite my disappointment, B&Q showed no interest in addressing the issue. Furthermore, the quality of the plants for sale is often subpar. I recommend seeking out a reputable garden center with a plant return policy in place for instances where your greenery may not flourish, and making your purchase there instead.
Michelle Alexander (07/06/2025, 01:23):
This here be me local B&Q and I've always had top-notch experiences! The staff are mighty helpful whenever I've needed a hand. Plenty of parking space and the disabled access is just splendid, all on one floor! Only downside be that the carpark could use a bit of a touch-up, but that ain't B&Q's fault, now is it?
