Extensive selection of top-notch items, with hassle-free returns and exceptional customer service.
Grace Reed (20/06/2025, 11:44):
A rather sizable store with an extensive range of goods at competitive prices. Every now and then, the pricing might appear slightly askew for unknown reasons. Yet, this appears to be a common occurrence across all stores, doesn't it?
Randy Kelly (19/06/2025, 19:12):
The staff were so helpful, they answered all my DIY questions and having plants available was a great bonus.
Sarah Gutierrez (19/06/2025, 15:59):
I popped into B&Q the other day and I have to say the experience was quite consistent with their products and customer service. The app does a decent job of helping you find items in-store, and their click & collect service is a breeze. I've also had no issues making returns or exchanging items, everything went smoothly.
Roger Gutierrez (18/06/2025, 01:58):
Found everything we needed at the home improvement store. The app is a real game-changer, it shows you exactly where to find each item in the store. Brilliant concept!
Joyce Howard (17/06/2025, 19:43):
When we popped into the store, there was quite a line at the checkout counter. I thought we'd be standing there for ages, but to my surprise, we were served in no time! Plus, I managed to snag a 20% discount on the wallpaper I purchased. Win-win!
Bobby Peterson (17/06/2025, 05:56):
Absolutely pointless, they claim to have items in stock but when you make the effort to travel all the way from the other side of Glasgow, they don't even have it available for viewing. Utterly disappointing!
Grace Nelson (13/06/2025, 16:55):
I 'ad to get meself a fence latch as me old one 'ad broken and the dog would 'ave escaped without it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this store (and likely all B&Q stores) really takes Covid seriously. Lots of people keepin' their distance and great staff. Not a fan of going places for essentials at the moment due to people's relaxed attitudes, but B&Q were brilliant.
Bryan Davis (12/06/2025, 22:46):
On the hunt for an oven, but was a bit disappointed by the small selection of appliances and kitchen designs available.
Victoria Scott (11/06/2025, 22:14):
I strongly advise against purchasing plants from this establishment. B&Q has a strict no-return policy for plants, which I learned the hard way after buying a pricey premium garden plant that sadly perished within ten weeks. Despite my disappointment, B&Q showed no interest in addressing the issue. Furthermore, the quality of the plants for sale is often subpar. I recommend seeking out a reputable garden center with a plant return policy in place for instances where your greenery may not flourish, and making your purchase there instead.
Michelle Alexander (07/06/2025, 01:23):
This here be me local B&Q and I've always had top-notch experiences! The staff are mighty helpful whenever I've needed a hand. Plenty of parking space and the disabled access is just splendid, all on one floor! Only downside be that the carpark could use a bit of a touch-up, but that ain't B&Q's fault, now is it?
Stephanie Cruz (05/06/2025, 07:03):
Misguided or deceitful staff, timber cutting service not available.
Staff seem unsure about current availability of cutting service. Visited on Saturday to purchase and cut MDF board, inquired with two employees at the entrance about cutting service for the day. They seemed uncertain and informed me that the machine was malfunctioning. Following this, I posed the same question to two other staff members who stated cutting services are offered Monday through Friday between 10am and 4pm. Returning on Monday to procure the MDF board and have it cut, I discovered that the machine was indeed out of order. At this juncture, I am inclined to believe that the cutting service at this particular B&Q store may be non-existent, despite information provided on their website.
Andrea Jones (04/06/2025, 15:48):
I popped into the store to pick up some items for a carpentry job at my place. Initially, I asked a lad in uniform who didn't seem too interested or helpful, to be honest. But then, I stumbled upon a chap who looked very cheerful and approachable. When I asked him for help finding what I needed, he not only pointed me in the right direction but also provided advice, assistance, and even guided me to other items in the shop. I returned the following day for more supplies and was pleased to see the same helpful man. He gladly assisted me once again. This B&Q colleague, with whom I crossed paths twice, was truly friendly, informative, and approachable. It turns out he has been with the company for 20 years and still loves his job. What an accomplishment! Many thanks to Paul McGuire for his exceptional customer service and people skills. He is undoubtedly an asset to B&Q Bishopbriggs.
Alexander Kim (31/05/2025, 09:16):
Out of all the B&Q stores I've visited, I must say this one is not quite up to par. The staff are indeed quite friendly and helpful, but I always seem to struggle to find what I need here and end up having to look elsewhere, sometimes even at a different B&Q!
Austin Cox (30/05/2025, 14:28):
I could easily spend the entire day at that place. Just walking around gives you so many ideas on how to spruce up your home. The staff is so lovely and patient too! 🙂
Jeffrey Miller (30/05/2025, 09:08):
Recently renovated but now offering a more limited selection. The product range is quite small, and the garden center feels cramped and tiny. It seems like a step backward for this store.
Janice Nguyen (30/05/2025, 05:26):
I found meself a bargain, mate! Managed to snag a plant for 'alf price and even got meself some free plant pots. What a top-notch trip to the store, I tell ya!
Charles Kim (29/05/2025, 22:04):
Do not bother with this store's click and collect service, it's an absolute disaster. The team is rubbish. They place items on the shelves even when they have been ordered for click and collect. They are quick to accept your payment upfront only to later cancel the order. Living up to your stellar reputation for excellent service, well done B&Q - Not!!!
George Barnes (29/05/2025, 17:38):
Recently purchased a kitchen from this establishment, and to my dismay, they neglected to inform me of the design alterations that were authorized by the store's recommended fitter during my follow-up survey consultation. Despite personally reviewing the plans, they attempted to shift blame onto the fitter. Consequently, I find myself with an incomplete kitchen and a 3-week wait for the correct components to arrive. To add insult to injury, the £75 gift voucher they offered as a "goodwill gesture" was absent when I made the 75-mile journey to retrieve it and return the incorrect parts last night. The Duty Manager, Martin, who interacted with my partner on this matter, displayed shocking behavior - rude, condescending, and ignorant. I am left with a headache and an unfinished kitchen. I shall not be returning to that store again!
