I simply must share my honest thoughts on the service I experienced at the Silverburn store. I bought a watch there about two years ago and initially, the staff were delightful. However, things took a turn for the worse when my watch needed to be sent off for repairs due to a manufacturing fault. While I wasn't overly concerned about the inability to fix it, the real issue arose upon collection. The lady who returned my watch seemed quite disinterested, even rolling her eyes at me and insisting on providing a collection receipt, which I declined. It was all rather off-putting, to be honest. The proposed solution to charge me more for the repair of a watch that is hardly worn and still in pristine condition seemed nonsensical. I'd rather not invest more money in such poor service. The attached picture clearly shows the watch doesn't stay closed when worn. Terribly disappointed with the aftercare service.

I popped into the jewelry store yesterday arvo to get a few links taken out of my watch bracelet, and I must say, the two lovely ladies there were just delightful. They were so warm and helpful, and they really took the time to ensure that the fit of my watch was just right. Even my 5-year-old grandson felt right at home, which means a lot to me. Top-notch service from some top-notch folks! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Let me tell you, mate, stay well away from Ernest Jones! I made the mistake of buying a Vera Wang Engagement ring from them in June 2018 and it was a nightmare. I wanted a larger diamond so I had the ring custom made with a 0.50ct diamond, but when I received it, it didn't look any bigger than the original 0.30ct. The engraving inside even said it was 0.30ct. I contacted them and after a long back and forth, they admitted they sold me the wrong size diamond. They offered to make a new ring, but then kept delaying and finally suggested I pay extra for a new one or just keep the incorrect one. Absolutely shocking service! Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere for jewelry, trust me.
