I must say, just like many folks out there, I first got wind of the fossils dotting the coastline from David Attenborough's TV program. The fossils are quite a sight to behold and fairly straightforward to spot, making for a delightful stroll along the beach. And let's not forget the quaint town nearby, which adds to the overall charm of the place. I highly recommend setting aside some extra time to truly delve into all that this area has to offer.

It was truly incredible to come across a massive fossilized tree stump on Crail beach. The sheer size of it took me by surprise. At first glance, it appeared to be just another rock, but upon closer inspection, it became clear that I was gazing at a magnificent tree stump. As I looked around, I noticed a few other partial stumps scattered nearby, adding to the wonder of the moment.
