I ventured down to Asda with the church crew to pick up some grub for the lads. Kev loaded up the cart with ice cream, chicken, beef - the whole works. We ended up spending a whopping 600 quid just to feed the homeless. What a blessing from above, may the fountain continue to pour out its goodness.

The wee white security guard at the entrance puffing on his vape, does he actually put in a shift? I reckon he used to be at Sainsbury on Berryden Road, always flirting with the lassie at the checkout. Poor chap.

ASDA Cafe service was abysmal!
I ordered a cheeseburger with chips and a draught drink (which was priced at £1.95) but the drink machine was out of syrup, so I received only soda instead of what I had paid for. When I brought this issue to their attention, they told me to just grab another drink from the warm fridge.
I also purchased a can of Fanta for £0.90 and asked for a refund of the price difference, but was simply told to take another can instead. It didn't make sense to receive another can when I only needed one and why couldn't they just process a refund? I was informed to wait for my meal and that the refund would be sorted later.
To make matters worse, when I asked for ketchup, it was literally thrown across the counter, and trays were scattered around. It was clear that the staff were having a bad day, but that is not the customer's fault.

I will never shop at this place again, I tell ya! There was this lady at the checkout being dead rude, I swear.

Popped in for a spot of lunch around half past 1 today and was quite miffed to find no sandwiches available. Quite the inconvenience, I must say! All I could spot were a measly pair of pasta bowls, hardly enough for a proper grab-and-go selection. Utterly bonkers, if you ask me!
Alice Martin (16/05/2025, 06:28):
Fantastic supermarket. The folks working there are simply brilliant. Ran into a little issue today, but they sorted it out right away. Truly grateful for their help. Cheers!
Zachary Gray (13/05/2025, 22:30):
Huge market with a wide range of products for all your needs. The team is incredibly friendly and always eager to assist with any inquiries. My only small gripe is the lack of contactless payment options at the checkout, but that's just a minor detail.

Once had a run-in with a druggie sporting a cat tattoo in an Asda outfit, but managed to wrangle him into a trolley and off he went. Top-notch experience and staff! Cheers to them.
Sarah Turner (10/05/2025, 23:53):
I must admit, I was quite disappointed with this supermarket compared to the one I usually frequent at Garthdee. It was a Saturday morning, the busiest day of the week, and the selection was truly lacking. Several essential items on my list were either out of stock or dangerously close to their expiration date. What a letdown...! It's unlikely that I'll be returning to that store anytime soon.
Gerald Gonzales (10/05/2025, 19:46):
An excellent variety of groceries and such. The personnel were quite pleasant and polite. Cheers!
Brittany Gray (10/05/2025, 05:37):
Typical Asda shopping experience. Parking can get a bit tight at busy times. Only one door for going in and out. They offer a convenient buy and collect option for George clothing items.
Heather Alexander (09/05/2025, 20:33):
This supermarket is quite alright with reasonable prices, I must say. However, it took me asking three different staff members for assistance before actually getting the help I needed. Each one kept redirecting me to another, which was a tad frustrating. To top it off, the store even opened late that day. Not the best customer service experience, if you ask me.
Bruce Hernandez (07/05/2025, 05:58):
I must say, I found myself in a bit of a pickle the other day at the supermarket. It completely slipped my mind that they were about to close, and before I knew it, I was being hollered at from across the store by a member of the staff! Quite a surprise, I must say haha.

Having worked at Sainsbury's for a solid 8 years, I've encountered all kinds of customers, and never once have I felt inclined to shout across the entire length of the store at any of them.

To the checkout manager - I understand your eagerness to wrap things up and head home on time, but a little dose of common courtesy goes a long way, don't you think?
Victoria Allen (04/05/2025, 13:46):
I absolutely adore shopping at Asda. The variety of options available for food, jewellery, home goods, health and beauty products, groceries, pharmaceuticals, and of course, clothing from George is simply superb. And when you need to unwind, the Beach Cafe is the perfect spot to enjoy some delicious food or a lovely cup of coffee. It's truly a one-stop shop for all your needs!
Noah Ford (04/05/2025, 10:35):
I used my blue light card at this supermarket today. My partner wanted to pay for his snacks separately from the main shopping, so he was going to give me the cash for it. The cashier told me that this couldn't be done because the card is in my name, so I ended up using my bank card instead. As I was leaving the store, the guy at the checkout shouted after me. I turned back to see what was wrong and was surprised to hear him say that if I wasn't happy, I should shop elsewhere.

I decided to speak to the manager to make a complaint. However, the manager seemed indifferent and didn't take any of my details. It makes me wonder how many other customers are treated poorly like this. I have filed formal complaints, so we'll see how that goes.
Beverly Lewis (04/05/2025, 09:24):
Lovely place for grabbing some essentials at the supermarket.
Bobby Young (03/05/2025, 10:28):
Very convenient for those with disabilities to easily access the supermarket and enjoy independent shopping, with excellent customer service always at hand.
Mark Cruz (01/05/2025, 00:25):
I've never had a negative experience in this store, and the staff are always very polite and helpful. The spacious toilets are definitely a bonus, even though they could be a bit cleaner.
Nicole Walker (29/04/2025, 12:24):
It's becoming quite a challenge to come across any Scottish goods these days, and the traditional tills seem to be disappearing, being replaced by self-service conveyors.
I find it more worthwhile to head over to Aldi across the parking lot now, as they support local employment and prioritize sourcing Scottish products.
Christine Collins (28/04/2025, 21:55):
Last night we purchased our Christmas turkey and upon arriving home and unwrapping it, we were met with a putrid stench of rotten meat! We are now without a turkey and have wasted our money. The situation is even more concerning as we could have become very unwell. Utterly furious!!
