This supermarket is massive, I popped in to grab some groceries and print out some postcards.
Amber Martin (26/08/2025, 17:59):
This supermarket in Aberdeen is an absolute disaster, I must say. It's best to steer clear if you can help it. No cashiers available at 7:30 pm on a Tuesday night - absurd! You're left with no choice but to use the self-checkout machines. And let me tell you, those self-service contraptions are a joke! You end up wasting more time flagging down staff members to fix those blasted machines as they hardly work properly. Until ASDA decides to allocate their staff resources more effectively, they can forget about getting my business. My advice to anyone thinking about shopping there? Just don't bother - it's a complete mess.
Johnny Wilson (26/08/2025, 00:05):
I feel your pain, mate. Asda let me down big time. I placed an order for some groceries with a delivery window of 5-7, right? Well, more than 26 hours later, still no sign of me food. I had to cancel the whole bloomin' thing. And every time I rang 'em up, they fed me lies! No way I'm giving Asda another chance with me shopping.
Brandon Rivera (25/08/2025, 16:31):
Pickers don't pay attention when picking your order for collection or delivery: I've had to decline substitutes in the past, only to discover the items on the shelf myself.
Ronald Gonzalez (23/08/2025, 17:33):
The sandwiches and crisps at the café were half-frozen and appeared to be at least 2 weeks old. The salad was grimy and nowhere near fresh. Additionally, the tea was served in filthy teapots. I shan't be returning and certainly wouldn't recommend it. I must say, I had higher hopes from a prominent supermarket chain like Asda.
Anna Gomez (21/08/2025, 15:44):
Absolutely dreadful 'super' market. The closure of the toilets at 7 PM is simply unacceptable, irrespective of how bustling the store may be. All patrons are left with a sole unsanitary lavatory, even when the store remains open late. The customer service is inexplicably lacking; I was informed that it's a decision made by management, so no remedy is possible. However, actions can indeed be taken. I shall not patronize this establishment again and will spread the word to others.
Riley Perry (15/08/2025, 20:15):
Great tidy store with a wide variety of goods, could do with a few more options for us vegans but overall not bad
Kathleen Turner (14/08/2025, 12:41):
The self-scanner wand is quite handy, making shopping a breeze. The staff is helpful, and the prices are not too shabby either.
Wayne Ross (14/08/2025, 11:25):
Oh blimey, this store is an absolute mess! Can you believe they didn't give me my goods even though I had all the proof on my phone with the bank details? The staff here are completely useless, it's absolutely appalling. I can't believe I have to write this review, but the way they've treated me and my bank details is just unacceptable. They're saying I won't get my earphones and charger until after Christmas - can you believe that?! They're not letting me have my stuff, it's really a shame because it's a decent store.
Jonathan Ramos (12/08/2025, 08:32):
I am a bit worried that I have never observed the self-checkouts being cleaned in between customers. It would be great to have a spray and paper towels at each checkout so that customers could clean them before using.
Eugene Gutierrez (12/08/2025, 05:44):
I say, no faulty wheel buggies for those putting in the hard work, especially if you happen to have a disability.
Keith Torres (10/08/2025, 21:01):
I popped into this supermarket on a weekday evening. The lighting was rather dim, which gave the place a bit of a gloomy feel. Surprisingly, both the men's and women's restrooms were out of order. And to top it off, I found the fish chilling out in the dessert section!
Sophia Coleman (10/08/2025, 18:11):
Excuse me, but I must express my discontent with the current state of the automatic door system at your establishment. It appears that the main entrance door is malfunctioning, as it fails to open on numerous occasions, leaving customers such as myself in an awkward position, waiting for someone exiting to trigger the sensor. Additionally, it seems that the second door, which previously served as the exit, is consistently closed. Could it be that this door is in need of repair or maintenance? I kindly request that you address these issues promptly to ensure a smooth and seamless shopping experience for all patrons. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Evelyn Myers (06/08/2025, 05:34):
Fantastic spot to stock up on all your essentials in one fell swoop, then head out for a leisurely stroll on the beach.
Joe Reed (04/08/2025, 05:22):
Fantastic variety of products at reasonable prices. It's wonderful to have a spacious car park next to other stores. The self-service checkouts are user-friendly and save a considerable amount of time.
Joyce Gutierrez (03/08/2025, 15:35):
Even though some folks like meself may not fancy the way Asda keeps its shelves stocked or leaves trolley cages scattered about while restocking, I must say this store typically carries what I'm after. The DVD section consistently boasts the newest flicks and Asda does a fine job slashing prices on older ones, with certain Blu-rays going for a mere £3 or £5. The café is decent, and there's even a McDonald's tucked inside, in case the café fare isn't to your liking. Overall, it's a decent supermarket. Mind ye, there are plenty of other options out there as well.
Scott Gutierrez (31/07/2025, 17:29):
A mix-up with the cards has left my funds in limbo on my previous card number and my bank is refusing to release them, with no assistance whatsoever from customer service.
Lucy Gray (31/07/2025, 12:54):
I've just placed an order on Just Eat and it's been three hours since I ordered at 5:45 pm, but it still hasn't been dispatched. I've tried calling but no one is picking up, and there's been no update on the order at all. This is absolutely ridiculous!
Kevin Kelly (30/07/2025, 19:07):
The customer service team was absolutely brilliant, they were incredibly helpful and polite.
Gary Hamilton (30/07/2025, 09:13):
I had a completely dreadful experience today at the Supermarket. The member of staff I encountered was extremely unhelpful and refused to assist me in finding what I needed. I waited patiently for over a minute before I approached her, only to be met with indifference as she was engrossed in a conversation with a customer who seemed to be a friend. To make matters worse, they were not even observing the 2-meter social distancing rule. I simply needed to locate some yeast, but she dismissively informed me that there was none available. It is truly astonishing that a store of this size does not stock such a basic item. It felt as though she was more interested in chatting than helping customers.
