Absolutely adored the baby clothing selection! And the prices for the clearance items were quite lovely, if I do say so myself. The grocery selection is top-notch, particularly the fresh Salmon. I find myself exclusively purchasing my salmon from M & S now, no other store compares.

Just your typical M&S store inside Silverburn, so you can take a leisurely stroll through Silverburn while browsing other shops.
Abigail Price (27/08/2025, 20:57):
So, the thing is, I gave a point for the product and a few of the staff who were quite friendly. However, let me tell you about the customer service over in the lingerie department - absolutely dreadful. I had a really bad experience where I was treated so disrespectfully. Let me tell you, after that incident, I swore off shopping there ever again for lingerie. Now I prefer to go to Bravissimo where they give much better service and actually treat customers with respect.

The folks over at Marks and Spencer's Braehead location are truly delightful with a helpful demeanor. I wouldn't think twice about giving them my recommendation.
I rated them four stars, mainly due to the layout and organization of their in-store eatery which could use some improvement.
1. The restaurant space is not quite big enough to accommodate the daily influx of shoppers.
2. Its odd layout results in tightly packed tables, making it challenging for individuals in wheelchairs or pushing strollers to navigate easily.
3. Staffing levels can be lacking during peak hours when the restaurant sees a lot of traffic.
Aside from these points, it's a decent spot to take a breather and grab a snack.
Rebecca Campbell (27/08/2025, 04:40):
The sale items were rather lackluster, the bottom of the barrel it seemed. The store could use a good sprucing up. The staff appeared more focused on the fixtures and fittings than on the customers.
Lauren Johnson (27/08/2025, 01:53):
Spacious M&S store with two levels located in the Braehead Center shopping mall. The M&S cafe on the upper floor offers a wide selection of quality coffees, beverages, delicious cakes, and other indulgences for shoppers needing a break. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The store is consistently tidy and well-kept. Impressive amenities include an in-house M&S bank branch. Despite the constant flow of customers, the atmosphere never feels cramped. This M&S establishment stands out as one of the most pleasant I've experienced.
Robert Graham (26/08/2025, 21:26):
I must say, I had quite the experience when I tried to return a pair of trousers at Supermarket. I had the original receipt and label attached, and it was within 48 hours of purchase, yet it felt like an interrogation! They accused me of wearing the trousers and made me wait for 10 minutes to speak to a manager in front of other customers. Absolutely dreadful service, I shall not be returning anytime soon.
Victoria Rodriguez (22/08/2025, 01:57):
I recently purchased a 50th wedding anniversary card for £3.50, which I found to be quite pricey. However, upon opening the packaging, I was truly appalled to discover that it was just a plain card with a poorly attached rectangle of paper on the front containing the writing. This was definitely not up to the standard I expected from M&S.
Steven Morris (19/08/2025, 23:39):
There were quite a lot of folks in the shop. The arrangement hadn't been altered, so it was tricky to navigate through the aisles and the queue to pay stretched all the way down the aisles. I must say, the whole ordeal was rather stressful.
Layla Miller (19/08/2025, 12:01):
Finally, they have arranged their inventory by categories. All the jeans are grouped together, all the knits are together, all the jackets are together, and there is still an autograph section, but it's separate. It makes shopping so much easier now.
Daniel Reyes (17/08/2025, 21:34):
I must say, I was quite impressed by the staff's initiative in running after us when we left our water bottle behind. However, I must give a lower rating due to the limited options for purchasing fruits and vegetables without having to rely on single-use plastic packaging. The brown paper bags in the produce section seemed a bit like they were just for display.
Beverly Nelson (17/08/2025, 02:27):
Great range of products, convenient free parking. Ash at the men's clothing section was top-notch. My brother needed a few different clothing items and Ash went above and beyond to assist him. He had a wealth of expertise in finding the right fits, and his customer service was outstanding. Kudos to Ash!

Big shoutout to Amanda and the crew over at Marks and Spencer Braehead! Managed to misplace my mobile phone during a shopping spree in the store, but thankfully received a call the next day informing me that it had been found. The staff were incredibly helpful, couldn't thank them enough. Huge thanks to Amanda, everyone who helped, and a special thanks to Craig. Great customer service!
Mia Diaz (16/08/2025, 14:21):
I took back a pair of trousers that I had only worn for 40 minutes and were so poor in quality that they lost their shape completely. The initial person who assisted me at the customer service desk couldn't approve a refund and disappeared into the back room for nearly 15 minutes to consult with a manager. When she returned, she informed me that since the trousers had been worn, the best they could do was offer me a Credit Note as a gesture of goodwill! I requested to speak with a manager since I had the receipt and had even emailed M&S head office about the subpar quality of the trousers. After an additional 10 minutes, Adriana, a manager, finally emerged to the counter. Before I could even explain my issue, she sighed and shook her head at me! She then adopted a condescending tone and kept interrupting me every time I tried to speak. I was told that if I washed the trousers, they would regain their shape! So, after just 40 minutes of wear, I was expected to take them off, wash them, and then wear them again for another 40 minutes before they lost shape once more! Adriana displayed the most dreadful attitude I've ever encountered from a manager!!
Jonathan James (16/08/2025, 01:50):
The coffee shop I visited was absolutely freezing tonight! I was informed by the staff that the heating is controlled by the head office in England. Oh, brilliant! So we have to endure numerous complaints before the heating is turned on. The place has a lot of glass, so sitting closer to the window area feels even colder. Despite the chilly experience, the prices were very reasonable – I got a lot for £5. I would consider returning, but I'd have to wear four sweaters in the winter!
Julie Rogers (13/08/2025, 10:40):
This store is always buzzing with activity, but the layout is well-organized and there's an abundance of products in stock. The bakery section is particularly delightful.
Louis Evans (13/08/2025, 01:10):
Having a simple food store is a brilliant idea, mate! With our nation's absolute obsession with food, it's a fantastic way to keep the business thriving. Cheers to that!
Raymond Hernandez (10/08/2025, 02:44):
Decent-sized supermarket. Always bustling with activity. Wide range of products and never a long queue at the tills.
Philip Myers (08/08/2025, 01:55):
The staff appeared uninterested in assisting. Very unhelpful. They declined to take back a recently purchased item (a pair of work trousers) within 24 hours of the transaction, despite being unworn except for trying on. Disappointing overall. When seeking assistance in-store, I was simply directed vaguely, "They'll be over there somewhere". No effort made to verify stock availability or aid in any way. Customer interaction felt forced and lacking.
Bobby Hayes (07/08/2025, 16:44):
I have noticed that M&S has had to adapt multiple times due to a lack of interest or spending in their clothing line. Regardless of personal preferences, the store always appears to be quite busy. As a wheelchair user, navigating through the shop's fitting rails and display plinths of varying heights can be very challenging. While the store does have an elevator, accessing it can be extremely difficult, especially with clothing rails near the doors and limited space for pushchairs.
The food court also lacks sufficient space, but the staff there are notably helpful. The car park is spacious and well organized, although I suspect that the blue badge parking near the food court may be misused.
I highly recommend visiting the cafe upstairs as it offers great quality items, although they might come at a higher price.
