I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for my ski gear. The experience we had getting our boots fitted was top-notch. Initially, Chris helped us out, and then we had follow-up appointments with Mark (I hope Ellis appreciates their hard work because they are a real asset to the ski department). Both of them were extremely knowledgeable and dedicated a lot of time to making sure we got the perfect fit. They wouldn't let us walk out with our boots until they were 100% certain they were the right ones. And once we had chosen our boots, they even did some custom work to ensure a better fit and increased comfort! If you've struggled with boot fittings before, this is definitely the place to visit.

I popped down to the store in Braehed to pick up my first pair of hiking boots. The chap who assisted me in finding the perfect pair of boots took the time to discuss where and how I planned to use them, and even offered advice on how to lace them up correctly - which was a godsend, seeing as it was my maiden voyage into the world of hiking boots. The customer service was top-notch, as he clearly knew his stuff and patiently explained everything to me. While I'm hoping my current boots will last a good while, I'll definitely be returning to this store for my next pair!

I headed to the Braehead Ellis Brigham (Snowboard Asylum) to purchase a board, bindings, and new boots. Kez was fantastic and incredibly patient as I explained my preferences. She was highly knowledgeable and, being a snowboarder herself, she understood exactly what I needed, turning my jumbled words into a perfect setup that I am thrilled with. Now I just need some snow! Recently snagged a fantastic set of ski boots from this place. Oscar really knew his stuff and was super patient during our 2.5-hour session. I couldn't be happier with how the boots fit. Decided to go all out with the custom footbeds and had the entire lining molded to my foot and ankle. Top-notch service all around, highly recommend to anyone. Thanks a bunch, Oscar!

My lad had a snowboard fitting with James down at Braehead and me and the missus had a ski boot and ski fitting with Annie there the next week. It was a right good and proper enjoyable time on both visits. James and Annie were dead patient and really listened to what we were after, then they gave us their top-notch recommendations. Their passion for all things snowboarding & skiing also made the whole experience dead cozy for us on both occasions. We're all absolutely chuffed with our snowboard, skis, and custom fit boots, not to mention all the other gear we picked up.
Every time we pop into the store, you're made to feel right at home, and the staff's knowledge is top-notch. I would highly recommend anyone to swing by and get a custom fitting for any snow sport. Can't wait to give our new gear a whirl over the next few months.
