This place is way too pricey, the products are just the same as any other supermarket but with a higher price tag. For instance, a bottle of Moscatel won't set you back more than six pounds elsewhere, but here it's a few quid extra, and not as good as what Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Lidl, or Sainsbury's offer. I'd rate it one star, but they do carry Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise, my favorite wine, at a surprisingly decent price (for M&S). Also, their chocolate éclairs are a cut above the bland versions in other supermarkets. Overall, not the best place to shop. Unless you're into éclairs and sweet muscat wine, there's no real reason to go there.

The staff at Marks and Spencer are always so welcoming and helpful in every store I've visited, but the employees at Livingston really stand out. For instance, I was amazed by a staff member at the door just minutes before closing time. Even though I needed to quickly grab just one item, they were incredibly polite and accommodating. It was unexpected and truly impressive. Most places would probably turn customers away at that hour, but here I was greeted with a smile. Exceptional service!

I recently purchased a pair of boots from the supermarket. The price on the shelf indicated £35, but when I got to the checkout, I was charged only £21. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the original price of the boots was actually £29.50, not £35 as displayed on the shelf. It seems like there may have been some misleading marketing tactics going on at Marks and Spencer's!

I absolutely adore this M&S store. The staff here are incredibly helpful. I recently had a bra fitting and Lynne in the underwear department was absolutely lovely and really went out of her way to make sure all my needs were met. I also signed up for their new Sparks card and immediately received a 10% discount on my underwear purchase. There are plenty of fantastic deals you can load onto your card before you start shopping. And of course, the food is always top-notch. The cafe area upstairs is delightful, providing a peaceful spot to unwind after a day of shopping, with a great view overlooking the mall. Thank you, M&S. I must admit, quite disappointed with my recent purchases from Supermarket. I bought a belt for £19.95 and the metal buckle snapped the first time it was worn. Had to grab two replacements from a different shop for a total of £9 and ended up getting a refund. And don't even get me started on the trousers I picked up - the elastic on the waistband came off the very first time I put them on! My wife had to fix them up, but it was clear that they hadn't been stitched on properly in the first place. I had a 10.30am appointment and was seen promptly. I was getting a bra fitting, and the young lady assisting me was very attentive and helpful. She even consulted her supervisor to ensure I got the right size, and they both were very accommodating, considering I have arthritis in my hands. They made me feel like a valued customer. Kudos to the ladies for their excellent service.

Stopped in at this market after a hectic day, around 2 pm and we were eager for lunch. They boasted about their hot food selection and wide variety of cakes and scones.
FALSE ADVERTISING!
Upon entering, we were met with only 2 cake slices on display and, unbelievably, just ONE SCONE. And to top it off, when I inquired about the hot food options (after inspecting the meager menu on the wall), the gentleman behind the counter informed me that there was NONE available.
To sum it up, no cakes or scones, no hot food, and one of the weakest, most bitter coffees I've ever tasted.
CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE UNTIL THEY MAKE IMPROVEMENTS. Truly disappointed with the level of service here.

Time to dedicate some time to fresh utensils and new glassware. The attendant kindly offered my wife and me a glass for our juice, I usually don't express my thoughts aloud. However, the glasses were quite dirty (the attendant mentioned it was the dishwasher responsible for cleaning them). I then checked the cutlery, and to my surprise, all the spoons and forks were in a dreadful state. Another employee took notice, and I believe she was embarrassed by their condition. The food itself was as expected from Marks & Spencer - fresh, reasonably priced, and well presented. An easy improvement would be to invest in new utensils and glasses to reach a 5-star rating.

It was such a lovely spot, and I adored the view of the massive mall from the cafe! The only downside was the absence of cheese for the baked potato!😭 All in all, it was a jolly good experience!😁...
