Lovely. Didn't have a dip, you see. There was this notice, can't recall the exact words, but essentially it said that the pool isn't being looked after by the authorities anymore. Such a shame, it's a stunning spot, but I reckon that's a fair warning to proceed with caution.

Fantastic spot, we were staying at St Monans caravan park and it was just a 2-minute stroll from our caravan. It feels incredibly safe and spacious, allowing for a satisfying swim where you can easily reach the bottom in most areas. Absolutely brilliant! 😎

My favourite fife tidal pool is simply splendid. The tranquil waters and refreshing sea breeze make it the perfect spot for a relaxing swim. I could spend hours floating in the crystal-clear water, soaking up the sun and listening to the soothing sounds of the waves. It truly is a little slice of paradise right here in Fife.

Lovely spot for a swim, I must say. It's worth wearing some swimming shoes and perhaps even gloves, as there are a few crabs roaming around the area.

I popped by this afternoon for the first time, and what a delightful experience it was! The swim in this basin was simply splendid. I'm already looking forward to returning soon.
Edward Roberts (31/05/2025, 11:15):
I 'ave ne'er been in a tidal pool before, nor 'ave I gone swimmin' in th' sea. I'm not much of a swimmer, so this seemed like a safer choice fer me. Th' pool ain't well-kept and 'tis quite rocky underfoot, would recommend wearin' swim shoes. 'owever, once I got in, it was grand. There were plenty o' folks usin' it. There's a stepped area 'round fer leavin' yer gear and changin'. Perhaps if more folks use these pools, it'll spur some improvements an' upgrades fer th' future.
Timothy Gonzales (30/05/2025, 14:20):
The locals were making good use of the swimming pool, I must say. It's quite intriguing to discover more about the salt houses in the area.
Deborah Martin (25/05/2025, 22:24):
Oh, that swimming basin looks absolutely smashing! I must confess, I was a bit of a scaredy-cat and didn't take the plunge. St. Monanxs is simply fabulous, though. Cheers!
Jason Barnes (25/05/2025, 18:35):

Logan Patterson (23/05/2025, 10:01):
This swimming basin is an absolute gem for capturing stunning photographs and enjoying a refreshing dive. Highly recommended!
Daniel Simmons (21/05/2025, 10:48):
What a splendid spot to explore! The strolls are simply delightful.
Sean Ross (19/05/2025, 20:09):
Even on a dreary day, there were folks coming and going for a swim in this charming tidal pool. Access from the village end is quite straightforward. The water may be cold, but oh so invigorating. The nearby car park is rather tiny, so it's best to stroll down from the larger one further away. Cheers!
