Popped in on Sunday to have a gander at the prom dresses. Blimey, what a variety to pick from! Trying on a few was no trouble at all. The staff were ever so helpful, there was always someone ready to fetch another dress or whisk one away. Choosing was a right challenge, but we eventually nailed it. Massive thanks to ALL the ladies on Sunday for their honest advice and pointers. Would absolutely recommend.

I recently acquired a lovely dress from Sisters Boutique located in Falkirk via their website for a price of £125. I've only worn it once and already noticed that the stitching is starting to come apart around the bust area. When I reached out to the store, they mentioned that they couldn't issue a refund since I made the purchase online. They assured me that they would contact me later that day. After numerous phone calls, they claimed that the dress didn't leave their premises in such condition, therefore no refund would be provided. Instead, they suggested getting it repaired.

According to the Sale of Goods Act, products should be of satisfactory quality and endure for a reasonable period of time, certainly more than just 6 hours of wear. Sisters Boutique seems to have found a loophole by stating that the garment has been stretched (which is absurd considering the loose fit in the bust area).

Beware and think twice before making a purchase, as Sisters Boutique does not seem willing to provide refunds if their products fail.

I must say, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the clothing at this women's clothing store. The staff were rather impolite as well. It's safe to say that this shop has a rather inexpensive and gaudy selection.
