Exploring the Beauty Supply Store Boots in Aberdeen

Boots, a well-known beauty supply store, has become a go-to destination for cosmetic enthusiasts in Aberdeen. The store's commitment to accessibility and diverse service options ensures that customers can enjoy a seamless shopping experience.

Accessibility Features

Boots prioritizes accessibility with a wheelchair-accessible car park and a wheelchair-accessible entrance. This allows shoppers with mobility challenges to navigate the store comfortably. Such features are essential for an inclusive shopping experience, making it easier for everyone to access their favorite beauty products.

Payment Methods

Convenience is key at Boots, where various payment options are accepted, including credit cards and NFC mobile payments. These flexible payment methods cater to a wide range of customers, ensuring a quick and hassle-free checkout process. For those who prefer to make purchases on the go, the option for in-store pick-up is also available, allowing for easy collection of online orders.

The In-Store Experience

Customers often share their experiences when visiting Boots in person. For instance, many have highlighted the exceptional service provided by staff members like Richard. He is noted for his knowledge and willingness to help customers select products that suit their needs. Shoppers describe how he took the time to explain various items, enhancing their overall experience. However, not every visit to Boots has been met with favorable reviews. Instances of bad customer service have also been reported, describing unhelpful interactions with certain staff members. It’s crucial for management to ensure that all employees embody the store's commitment to quality service.

Planning Your Visit

When planning a visit to Boots, it’s advisable to consider peak hours, as the store can get busy. Reviews suggest that while the pharmacy staff are often helpful, the experience can vary depending on the time of day and the staffing level. For those seeking to make a quick visit, it may be best to check the store’s hours online beforehand. There have been mentions of discrepancies between actual closing times and those listed online, which can lead to frustration for customers looking to make last-minute purchases or pick up prescriptions.

On-Site Services

Boots offers a variety of on-site services, including a comprehensive pharmacy section. Customers appreciate the availability of knowledgeable staff who can assist with pharmaceuticals, ensuring they receive the correct medications and advice. However, it’s important for customers to be aware of stock availability, as some have experienced disappointment when items were not in stock despite online listings. In conclusion, while Boots in Aberdeen is equipped with features designed to enhance accessibility and convenience, customer experiences can vary significantly. Engaging positively with staff and understanding store policies will help future visitors maximize their shopping experience. With its wide selection of beauty products and essential services, Boots remains a noteworthy destination for all beauty aficionados.

We popped into the store to grab a product in a hurry and as soon as we walked in, we saw two female staff members at the entrance enjoying some free donuts from a customer. One of them abruptly told us that the store would be closing in exactly 2 minutes in a very rude manner. Despite this, we proceeded to make our purchase quickly and left before closing time. As we were leaving, that same rude lady gave us a judgmental look and made a comment.

Is this the kind of behavior one should expect from Boots' staff towards their loyal customers or any customer for that matter? I've been shopping at Boots around the world for the past 17-18 years, although not as frequently in recent years. My son is now a big fan of Boots Pharmacy and it was on his recommendation that we decided to visit this store.

It was unfortunate to have such a negative experience, especially since it's the first and only bad encounter we've had as customers.

Extremely disappointed!! I hope Boots' management takes this matter seriously and addresses it promptly.

The staff at this beauty supply store can be a bit unpolished.
Madison Graham (11/06/2025, 11:36):
I must say, the beauty tips from a lady named Jordan Pirie really made me eager to return and stock up on gorgeous makeup once more. She's absolutely charming, helpful, always with a smile on her face. Despite being young and beautiful herself, she's truly remarkable. Jordan shared some expert advice on makeup application and all things beauty, so I highly recommend paying her a visit - she's simply wonderful! xxxxx

The staff at this establishment are incredibly helpful and friendly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Russell Flores (06/06/2025, 01:54):
They have Lee Stafford ice white shampoo and Byoma face cream, so it's a thumbs up from me. Cheers!

I popped into the beauty supply store today with my daughter to grab some makeup essentials. I usually stick to my go-to products, but I ended up striking up a conversation with Richard. Let me tell you, he's an absolute gem and truly embodies the spirit of your store. I dare say he really made my day.

Richard took the time to walk us through various options and explained the ins and outs of different products to my daughter. He's just fantastic! Big thanks to Richard for his exceptional service and expertise.
Willie Davis (03/06/2025, 08:17):
Not the best customer experience, really quite disappointing... 🛍️
Paul Walker (29/05/2025, 12:30):
Popped into the store earlier to check out some makeup, just wanted to give a big shoutout to Richard who did mine and my bestie's makeup. He was so friendly and lovely, really made our day. Thanks for the fab experience, Richard!
Olivia Lee (27/05/2025, 05:20):
Absolutely brilliant customer service.
Patrick Hamilton (26/05/2025, 07:51):
I went on a wild goose chase to get some Emla cream to numb my skin before my tattoo appointment tomorrow morning, only to have my hopes dashed by a blonde girl at the store who insisted it wasn't licensed for tattoo numbing. I tried to reason with her, mentioning that I had purchased it multiple times at Boots without any issues, but she stood her ground and refused to sell it to me.

On my way back home, I checked both Boots and Emla's websites, and lo and behold, they both confirmed that Emla is indeed suitable for tattoo numbing. Either the cream is licensed, or both websites are in some serious trouble with the law. I called the store back, and the same girl answered, still not buying my explanation. Eventually, she passed me onto the pharmacist, who did some research and ended up apologizing to me.

It's quite concerning that a pharmacy would have such a lack of knowledge about their own products and employ someone so ill-equipped and uninformed to assist customers. I always thought the whole point of having items in the pharmacy section was to ensure that knowledgeable staff guide customers on proper product usage.

Now, it seems I won't be able to get any Emla from another retailer before my tattoo session tomorrow. What a disaster.
Tyler Bennett (24/05/2025, 06:56):
Oh, darling! Such lovely Boots we have here. The selection of essentials is simply splendid, and the makeup range is quite extensive.
John Powell (22/05/2025, 05:21):
I had a terrible experience visiting this store on April 2nd. I was looking for a cream for my rashes, but the doctor told me they didn't have it. It's quite amusing because I have been able to find the cream everywhere else. Every other place I went to recommended that cream for my symptoms, but this store refused to sell it to me. Absolutely ridiculous!
Allison Thompson (21/05/2025, 04:25):
Oh dear, what a cheek! The shop wasn't even open at 8am as promised. I would suggest updating those times to prevent any more customers from experiencing such disappointment. Cheers!
Joe Graham (20/05/2025, 06:45):
Excellent service from the staff, highly recommend this website.
Henry Coleman (18/05/2025, 18:14):
The staff at this beauty supply store were incredibly helpful and attentive. The pharmacy team was especially understanding of my medical needs, even during a medical emergency when I had a seizure. Their professionalism and care were truly commendable.
Joshua Ross (17/05/2025, 02:10):
I get my beauty supplies from Boots. I love using my Advantage card to earn points with each purchase. I always make sure to ask for perfume and makeup samples if they have any available. It's a great way to try out new products for free!
Gary Hayes (15/05/2025, 05:16):
The opening and closing times are like chalk and cheese compared to what's on the Internet. Perhaps someone should make the effort to give the website a facelift to prevent customers from frittering away their time and loitering outside a shut shop, particularly when they're in a dash or in dire straits and might find assistance elsewhere if the store's website dished out current info. Presently, it's Monday, 8:54 a.m., and the shop remains shuttered, yet the website states it should have swung open at 8:30 a.m.!!! Let's show a bit of respect for one another and our time.
Douglas Allen (13/05/2025, 01:09):
The customer service was absolutely dreadful. The employees were too busy chatting amongst themselves and didn't appear too pleased to assist customers. Particularly the staff in charge of fragrances.
Catherine Diaz (11/05/2025, 16:21):
Absolutely dreadful experience at the beauty supply store. The pharmacy staff, both the pharmacist and the foundation year trainee, were incredibly rude and unprofessional. I was taken aback by their lack of customer service skills and overall demeanor. I would not recommend this store to anyone looking for quality service.
Denise Long (11/05/2025, 13:26):
The pharmacy experience I had was absolutely dreadful. It seemed like it took an eternity for them to attend to me, and the staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. To make matters worse, they outright refused to provide me with an emergency inhaler, even though it should be standard protocol. It's their responsibility to care for their customers, and they failed miserably. I can confidently say that the staff at this pharmacy were the most unhelpful and clueless I've ever encountered. They really need some serious training to handle situations like this. If I could leave a rating of 0 stars, I definitely would. They need to step up their game and improve their service.
