The little ones absolutely adored this place! The indoor area is fantastic, and there's a huge park right outside. Plus, it's conveniently located next to the beach, which is a bonus. However, it can be a tad expensive for bigger families. The food is decent too.

If heaven exists, there's a good chance it resembles a children's amusement center... I must admit, I'm not particularly fond of such places. Putting that aside, Pirate Pete's is by far the best one we've visited. It's massive (at least double the size of typical industrial park venues) and offers a wide range of activities to keep the kids entertained. The pricing is quite reasonable (especially if you make use of their special offers), the staff is welcoming, and the food appears to be freshly prepared.

Absolutely brilliant, mate! The play area indoors is massive, super safe, with incredibly lovely and caring staff. And let me tell you, they whip up a top-notch frappuccino! I shelled out 6.50 quid (on the weekend) for my 2-year-old to have a blast for 2 hours, and her grin never wavered. A definite must-visit spot, no doubt about it!

Took me three little ones to this place today. Spent 39 pounds, which covered a simple kids' meal. I also got myself a couple of breakfast rolls, but they took a whopping 25 minutes to arrive (and the place wasn't even full!). When they finally came, they were in paper bags with no sauces, and the chips were in a paper cup with a tea bag just bobbing around... no spoon, milk, or sugar in sight!

The kids' meals came in takeaway containers, and when I asked what was happening, they said the dishwasher had broken down... Why didn't they tell me that from the start? Not impressed. Definitely won't be returning. Too pricey for such average and disappointing food quality! 😡

We visited Pirate Pete's several times during our stay in Ayr, Scotland. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The milkshakes were absolutely delicious, although a bit pricey at £4.50 each for just two scoops of ice cream, whipped cream on top. Both adults and children really enjoyed them. The play area was extensive with something for kids of all ages, but the costs for adults and children to play were a bit high. The prices varied depending on the time of day. Occasionally, the cafe staff seemed a little confused when taking orders, perhaps we just caught someone new on the job. There is a large, free public play area in front of or close to the beach.

What a brilliant spot for the little ones! My three-year-old absolutely adored it. The grub was top-notch and the crew went out of their way to accommodate my allergies. Thumbs up all around! Can't wait to return...

Arrr, matey! We didn't pay a visit to Pirate Pete's, but we did stop by the Pavillion cafe nestled within the same establishment. The cafe exudes a cozy charm and offers a delightful menu selection. The proprietors were exceedingly friendly, and we engaged in a pleasant conversation. This bustling spot is certainly a hit and definitely worth a visit.
Eugene Green (16/05/2025, 09:26):
The best soft play I've taken the kids to, mate. It's got a cracking cafe too, cheers!
Joan Russell (15/05/2025, 13:41):
The play area was absolutely delightful, and the food was simply scrumptious as well. The little ones had a fantastic time for a few hours.
Julia Jackson (14/05/2025, 22:58):
Absolutely brilliant soft play area for the little ones. It's got all you need for a jolly good time. The food selection is top-notch with a wide variety to choose from. They serve up some tasty grub and the coffee is simply delightful. The staff are really lovely and accommodating, even during the hustle and bustle. With two floors to explore, the upper level offers a more serene setting. It can get quite lively and noisy, especially on public holidays, but it's still a hoot!
Bradley Baker (14/05/2025, 17:47):
What a lovely cafe by the seafront! It was impeccably clean, the staff were so polite and helpful, and the food was absolutely delightful.
Roger King (14/05/2025, 16:26):
Oh dear.
What a letdown! It was quite pricey, we could only manage to get the kids a drink for £17.
We ended up having to grab something to eat at McDonald's afterwards.
The place felt outdated and it cost £11 for each child to get in.
We won't be in a hurry to visit again.
Jessica Ramirez (14/05/2025, 14:42):
We popped into the children's amusement center on Monday with the grandkids during our vacation in the area. What a splendid find! Top-notch facilities, great value for money, delightful staff, excellent amenities, and high-quality snacks. We're definitely making a return visit before we head back home. I can't recommend it highly enough!
