Asda Alloa Superstore stands as a significant retail presence in Alloa, offering a variety of products and services to meet the needs of its customers. From in-store pick-up options to an extensive range of offerings, this supermarket caters to a diverse clientele.

Convenient Service Options

Asda provides various service options for shoppers, including delivery services, click and collect, and no-contact delivery. Customers appreciate the flexibility these services offer when planning their shopping trips. For a quick visit, patrons can also take advantage of the self-service checkouts that help expedite the payment process. However, some customers have voiced concerns about the staffing levels at these checkouts, especially during busy times, leading to longer wait times.

Accessibility and Amenities

The store features a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible car park, making it easier for individuals with disabilities to navigate the premises. There is also ample free parking available, including free of charge street parking for those who prefer not to use the designated lots.

Quality of Produce and Merchandise

At Asda, shoppers can find great produce and a variety of food items, complemented by an assortment of clothing and household goods. Nonetheless, customers have pointed out inconsistencies in stock availability, particularly for specific items such as gluten-free products, which has raised questions about stock management and rotation within the store.

Payment and Eco-Friendly Practices

Asda supports modern payment methods including NFC mobile payments and credit card transactions, ensuring a seamless checkout experience. Additionally, the supermarket promotes recycling initiatives, encouraging customers to participate in environmentally friendly practices.

Customer Feedback and Experiences

While many customers have praised the staff for being helpful and friendly, there are notable criticisms concerning cleanliness and customer service within the store. Reports of unkempt restrooms and rude interactions with staff have surfaced, prompting suggestions for improved management oversight. One customer recounted a negative experience in the ladies' toilet, highlighting the need for more frequent cleanliness checks. Conversely, positive experiences are also shared. Shoppers have expressed appreciation for staff members who go above and beyond to assist, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

The Overall Atmosphere and Future Improvements

The general consensus on the atmosphere at Asda Alloa is mixed, with some expressing dissatisfaction over the store's organization and cleanliness. Many believe that poor management contributes to the chaotic environment, with suggestions for better-trained staff to handle customer interactions more professionally. In conclusion, while Asda Alloa Superstore offers a variety of products and convenient shopping options, addressing customer feedback and improving store cleanliness could significantly enhance the shopping experience for all patrons.

There were loads of folks in there, and the security guard seemed a bit dodgy.
Joseph Carter (05/07/2025, 07:21):
The staff at Supermarket was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the shelves were fully stocked...
Grace Hill (03/07/2025, 09:12):
The folks working here are always so friendly, and the prices are pretty good. The only issue is that they don't always have everything in stock, but it's not bad for a shopping trip.
Gloria Hamilton (02/07/2025, 03:59):
The employees were quite rude when seeking assistance. Typically, the customer service is exceptional.
Melissa Brown (29/06/2025, 09:19):
I popped in to do my grocery shopping here. They had a fantastic variety of food to choose from and the prices were quite reasonable. I was impressed by the selection of fresh bread rolls, cakes, and so on.
Zoey Davis (28/06/2025, 17:33):
I was on a search for some bread during the stormy weather. To my surprise, not only did Asda have some in stock, but they were also baking it fresh! I stumbled upon a small loaf on the shelf that was still warm to the touch.
Peter Rodriguez (27/06/2025, 13:00):
A top-notch supermarket that stocks a wide range of goods and offers ample parking space.
Judy Hill (26/06/2025, 10:49):
I always rely on Asda delivery, but haven't been able to secure a slot for weeks and resorted to using click and collect. I must say, the staff at this store are truly exceptional. Everything runs like clockwork and the employees are fantastic. I must give a special shoutout to young Keiran - he never fails to lift my spirits whenever I visit. What a delightful lad! He even remembers my name without prompting. Top-notch service all around.
Bradley Russell (25/06/2025, 23:50):
It's been a while since I last visited the supermarket, had to figure out where everything was again. But overall, the place is alright.
Kathryn Cruz (24/06/2025, 15:03):
Quick and efficient service. The store is well organized.
Juan King (24/06/2025, 13:17):
The store was alright and the staff were quite helpful. But oh my word, the ladies loo was an absolute disgrace! Toilet paper strewn all over the place, the cubicles were filthy, and the whole place reeked with dirty sinks. It's evident that these loos aren't being checked often enough for cleanliness, which is totally not on for a modern supermarket! I wholeheartedly suggest that the ladies' restrooms are inspected and cleaned regularly. What I encountered today was beyond dreadful and simply not acceptable. Shocking management. I definitely won't be going back there. Yuk!!!!! 🤢 😷
Ruth Campbell (23/06/2025, 22:49):
No checkout staff in the morning. I popped in this morning around 8:45 with a full trolley and was informed that self-service was the only choice. Quite absurd, especially considering the abundance of staff loitering about.
Justin Jordan (23/06/2025, 15:59):
I popped into Asda Alloa today in search of a mobile phone charger. The lovely lady who was tidying up the shelves nearby went out of her way to assist me. I regret not catching her name, but truly all the fantastic staff there deserve recognition. Huge thanks for your dedication on the front lines during these challenging times, well done Asda xx
Arthur Patterson (22/06/2025, 20:53):
Absolutely smashing store, old chap! Has everything I require. Quite keen on the Reward scheme, must say. Cheers!
Madison Sullivan (20/06/2025, 17:15):
The shop always seems to have a somewhat neglected and unloved vibe, exacerbated by the sight of stacks of trays and cages scattered across the shop floor, seemingly untouched by the staff and haphazardly left about. What's even more distressing is that, unlike the other supermarkets in Alloa, several of the employees (mostly women) disregard the mandatory mask-wearing rule when interacting closely with customers. This is truly unacceptable and should be promptly addressed by the manager.
Theresa Ortiz (20/06/2025, 06:14):
It's absolutely appalling how the staff treat customers! I will never shop there again! Boycott this shop, the staff are in desperate need of retraining in manners, for goodness sake.
Deborah Wright (19/06/2025, 16:04):
I popped into the supermarket with the intention of purchasing a case of 4 'Monster' energy drinks. At 28 years young, I've hardly ever been asked for ID when buying alcohol, let alone energy drinks. With my tattooed arms and beard, you would think common sense would prevail and recognize that I am indeed over the age of 16. An absolute disgrace of a service.
William Roberts (15/06/2025, 23:27):
Bright and clean. Prepared food would be a fantastic addition, wouldn't it?
Russell Anderson (11/06/2025, 22:24):
Lovely café with a great variety of products and a super convenient location, right next to the train station and very close to the main bus station and town center. They offer additional services like parcel drop-off/collection, a post box, and photo services. Free parking and a drive-thru are also really convenient. It would be even better if the store were a bit larger, as other shops in the area may have a wider range of products and services for better prices if you look around.
Dylan Ward (10/06/2025, 04:58):
A lot of the staff are rude, they aren't as big as Asda.
