One can always count on Markies. The food hall is situated downstairs, women's wear on the ground floor, and lingerie/nightwear on the first. I am quite fond of the beauty products from Marks and Spencer, and while the selection here is decent, it may not be the largest I've come across. The staff is friendly, and I typically find a sufficient number of cashiers during peak hours. The store is well-organized and doesn't feel too crowded.

Their clothing items are of excellent craftsmanship and superior quality. I originally stopped by in search of a pair of genuine leather boots for my granddaughter after exploring all the major stores on the main street. To my delight, I found the perfect pair of boots for her and even treated myself to a lovely dress. I'm so pleased I decided to visit this fine establishment.
Kenneth Parker (01/09/2025, 07:06):
Always a splendid shopping experience. Tremendous variety in stock and the store is meticulously organized.
Anna Gutierrez (01/09/2025, 02:33):
M&S Food. A lot of people absolutely love the food there. However, in my opinion, it's even better now, especially during Advent as Christmas is approaching. There are so many new culinary experiences to try. Head and shoulders above other grocery stores in terms of quality. Although, it can be a bit pricey at times.
Ronald Lee (31/08/2025, 21:36):
I had a lovely lunch at M&S. I enjoyed a tasty coffee and slice of cake, and there were plenty of seats to choose from. The baby facilities were good, although they were located at the other end of the store! The staff were very friendly, and I had a pleasant shopping experience where I was able to find a few small items that I needed.
Alan Allen (30/08/2025, 10:48):
I must say, my lunch experience was rather disappointing. I ordered a baked potato with chili avocado on top, only to find that half the plate was filled with grated carrots and red cabbage. The prices for the items on the menu were also quite steep. All in all, not a very satisfying meal.
Daniel Davis (29/08/2025, 08:08):
Absolutely love this store, there is such a wide variety of choices available. The customer service from the staff is top-notch, they are incredibly helpful and friendly.
Logan Carter (29/08/2025, 02:07):
I purchased a pair of boots from the Supermarket in November '22. It has only been 3 months since I bought them, and the "leather" on the right boot has already peeled off, and the soles of both boots are coming loose.
I want to emphasize that I have only worn them for regular street walking, and they are already falling apart.
I am extremely disappointed that I spent £60 on these boots, which are of such poor quality. I would advise avoiding this retailer altogether. The boots are cheaply made and very frustrating.
Johnny Phillips (27/08/2025, 21:19):
Irene, in the bra fitting section, was absolutely marvelous and extraordinarily helpful. She dedicated her time to both my mother and me, demonstrating impeccable politeness and professionalism throughout.
Ryan Richardson (27/08/2025, 04:10):
After spending ages wandering between a handful of racks inspecting trousers, it dawned on me that it might be more practical to organize them together by size rather than style. This way, I could easily browse through all the options available in a size 16.
Larry Hamilton (25/08/2025, 01:51):
Just been discharged from hospital after a real tough spell with my nerve damage, and I've shed some pounds and need a bra fitting. Managed to schedule an appointment with the wonderful Patricia - she was just lovely and really knew her stuff when it came to finding the right sizes for me. Spent a good 2 hours exploring different styles and sizes of bras, she was so patient and clearly loved what she was doing. So grateful for all her help! Ended up purchasing a few delightful bras and matching panties, I'm over the moon and just wanted to express my thanks once again for all your assistance. Will definitely be coming back. xx
Harper Myers (22/08/2025, 22:00):
I do really like M & S, you know? Been going there since I was a nipper, must've been 10 at the time. Now I'm a ripe old 65, can you believe it? Used to graft there too, back in the day. Argyle St, that's the big one in the heart of the city, mate. Got all kinds of gear there, especially for the gaff - homeware galore, I tell ya. And the Food Hall, top-notch for stocking up on treats before Christmas comes around.
Matthew Brown (22/08/2025, 17:56):
I absolutely adore Marks and Spencers, don't we all? It can be a bit pricey, so I always keep an eye out for their special deals. They truly have something for everyone. I adore the food they offer at the food court, although it can be quite costly. I reserve it for special occasions only. There are so many things here that are out of my price range, but a girl can dream!
Harper Torres (22/08/2025, 02:27):
I've really enjoyed my trips to the M&S food hall during this lockdown. The staff have been ever so helpful and they're doing a top job of keeping the store clean and safe. Can't wait to browse the rest of the store soon. Absolutely love it!
Jennifer Collins (21/08/2025, 11:13):
Honestly, Supermarket isn't really my thing, but the missus insists on dragging me there for some shopping. It's just your average High Street store in Glasgow that could use a bit of a spruce up.
Roger Thompson (20/08/2025, 17:36):
I frequent this establishment mainly for its food hall. Not to write a review, but Marks' food is truly exceptional. Everything you purchase here is outstanding in every possible way. Even the simplest items have an extraordinary quality to them. This place consistently exceeds expectations and offers a wide range of delectable treats. And we mustn't overlook the £10 deal - an absolute steal. A scrumptious three-course meal with a bottle of wine for two, all for £10, and the wine itself is delightful. None of the inferior house brands that other places include in similar offers. Highly recommend, couldn't be happier.
Joyce Cruz (20/08/2025, 08:21):
Massive supermarket right in the center of Glasgow! It was surprisingly peaceful on a Friday afternoon as we easily navigated through the aisles and encountered friendly staff. The variety in the food hall is simply outstanding, with an abundance of options to choose from!
Jordan Alexander (17/08/2025, 12:10):
Marks & Spencer has a well-deserved reputation that precedes it. It's one of my go-to shopping destinations, offering great value for money. The store always looks pristine and well-lit, and the staff members are top-notch. I could easily spend a thousand pounds just in their food hall!
Doris Sanders (17/08/2025, 03:28):
Top-notch, impeccable customer service. Exceptional quality products. I am absolutely smitten with this Marks and Spencer store. There are always helpers roaming the aisles ready to assist you. And when you do need help, they are the most gracious and helpful, always directing you to exactly what you're looking for or suggesting suitable alternatives.
Marks and Spencer truly excels in providing essential wardrobe staples.
I must also sing the praises of their fitting services. Even my reserved, self-conscious teenage daughter felt completely at ease with the staff here. They took her measurements and brought her the most comfortable bras that she hardly even feels on. Their suggestions were spot-on, perfect for her.
Carolyn Ortiz (16/08/2025, 13:52):
I must say I was terribly let down. There was no designated area for breastfeeding, and I was actually told to either use a restroom or a sofa on display to nurse my little one! After that, I made the decision to depart. One would have anticipated a more considerate approach from a well-known high street retailer with a prominent branch like this.
