I have no complaints about the products at Warehouse Store. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. However, the negative aspect of my experience is the long queues to enter the store with only one scanner at the entrance. There are also queues around the food areas and at the checkouts, with many tills not being open. Additionally, there is a queue to exit and have your trolley checked. As a person with a disability, all these queues make my visit unpleasant. This issue needs to be addressed and resolved promptly.

The best part of this establishment is the Scotch whisky section. A word to the wise for those visiting from North America: 1) Only one member can bring in one non-member thanks to a tip gleaned from Google images. 2) As an international visitor, be sure to carry cash as this warehouse store only accepts "Debit Visa," "Maestro (similar to Master Debit)," and American Express cards issued by Costco. Your foreign credit cards will not be accepted. We had a bit of a moment when our credit cards wouldn't go through, but luckily our friends had enough cash to cover our purchase in the end. Kudos to the patient cashier who allowed us to try our cards repeatedly before we realized that payment methods in Scotland differ from those in North America.

At this warehouse store, they offer price adjustments on their own products if you have the original receipt, and they can verify it through your membership card. However, I had a negative experience with a particular female staff member named C* who was quite unfriendly and arrogant. When I mentioned making a complaint, she boldly provided me with her name and encouraged me to do so. So, following her suggestion, I went ahead and filed a complaint.

We popped into the warehouse store to stock up on road trip essentials. Ended up only grabbing bottled water. Getting in wasn't too tricky, but it was a bit of a maze trying to find our way out; had to take a left to navigate the roundabout and exit. I was tempted by the food court offerings, but we stuck to our water-only haul. Opted for gelato over soft serve. Surprisingly, they didn't have jacket potatoes or a double chicken sandwich. The pizza and hot dog cost the same in both USD and GBP, priced at 1.50 in each currency.

Today I purchased 2 boxes of puff pastries. The shelf price shown in my photo was £5.59, but at the checkout, it rang up as £7.99. I paid for them thinking I had misremembered, but upon returning to the shelves and double-checking, I discovered the discrepancy. I took a picture as evidence and brought it to the attention of a staff member. It turns out the price tag belonged to another item from the same brand, a different weight box of puff pastry. I received an apologetic response, with the option to queue for a refund, yet there was no immediate action taken to correct the mislabeled tag. When I inquired about rectifying the error, I was informed that due to the impending closing time (10 minutes away), it wouldn't be addressed that day. I found this lackadaisical approach puzzling, considering the size of the store like Costco and the ample staff available – surely someone could have swiftly corrected the mistake by removing the incorrect tag from the shelf (if reprinting wasn't feasible). Perhaps even a customer, like myself, could have volunteered for this role... However, the absence of urgency to resolve the issue left me perturbed.

As I reflect on this incident while typing, I realize the broader implications. The complaint was lodged at the conclusion of a busy Sunday, indicating that potentially dozens, if not close to a hundred customers like myself, may have been misled by the mispriced tag. This exacerbates my frustration with the lack of prompt action taken by the staff to address the root of the problem. Regrettably, this recurrent issue of incorrect shelf pricing is eroding my trust in this store.

There are still some decent bargains available, but the sudden shift in midweek opening times for regular members to 11am, thereby necessitating an upgrade to premium membership with double the fees, appears rather profit-driven. Consequently, it's likely that weekends will become even busier as a result of this decision.

Just discovered the new gas station at Costco - they've got lower fuel prices and Krispy Kreme all in one spot. That's a win-win! And don't even get me started on their huge pizzas at such a great price. Checked out the fuel prices on 17-06-22 and also peeked at the menu with prices as of the same date. Love this place!
