Fantastic spot for picking up groceries, lovely team members!
Dylan Reed (26/07/2025, 13:17):
I recently encountered a problem with my online click and collect order at this supermarket. The staff, particularly the manager, went above and beyond to assist me and resolve the issue promptly. Their exceptional customer service definitely deserves recognition.
Janice Richardson (25/07/2025, 23:59):
The lady who manages the self-checkout desks is terribly rude. There are shopping carts strewn all over the car park, so be cautious to avoid any scratches on your vehicle.
Debra Ramirez (24/07/2025, 15:03):
I would be remiss not to voice my dissatisfaction, as the service at the customer service kiosk designated for purchasing tobacco and lottery tickets is frankly atrocious. Today, I found myself queuing for a staggering 10 minutes, all the while observing three employees stationed behind the counter and another Asda colleague engaged in idle chatter with a customer in line. Regrettably, this lack of efficiency is not an isolated incident. To call the counter staff indolent would be a generous understatement; their lethargy knows no bounds, and they exhibit a total lack of concern for their duties. Moreover, their perpetual glum expressions only exacerbate the issue. I make a concerted effort to circumvent the kiosk whenever possible, as the experience inevitably leaves one's spirits diminished.

Got to the supermarket and it's bloody closed! I swear they said it was open 24 hours. Can't believe this, what a proper nuisance.
Danielle Foster (22/07/2025, 23:03):
Just came in from East Kilbride tonight around half past 11 to refill our gas card at their paypoint as nowhere nearby could assist, and my partner is heavily expecting. Upon seeking out a staff member, I was informed that no one on the night shift was "till trained," hence no one could handle the paypoint to add funds to our gas card. Absolutely appalling that the management couldn't manage that. My partner is currently in tears in bed due to feeling cold and not receiving assistance. Their signs all boast "Happy to help," if only it were accurate!
Gabriel Sanders (22/07/2025, 04:50):
I just found this amazing Mystic Flour Cookie at the supermarket, it's absolutely delicious!
Riley Gonzales (21/07/2025, 16:21):
This place is an absolute joke, mate. Ever since the start of lockdown, it's been the worst store I've set foot in. There's no social distancing, no one wearing masks, and not a speck of control – and that's just the staff!
Bradley Morales (20/07/2025, 21:13):
Residing in Blantyre, this store is conveniently located for my family and me. We regularly spend a considerable amount of money there each week, yet we consistently experience unfortunate encounters with the staff. They charge extra for bags and prohibit customers from bagging their own groceries. I was informed by a manager that this policy is in place due to ongoing issues with bag theft, resulting in significant financial losses for the company. However, as a loyal customer who spends a minimum of £100 per week at this establishment, I find this policy frustrating.

It seems that many others I have spoken to share similar sentiments about the poor customer service provided by most of the staff. Despite this, I have encountered a few exceptional employees who are truly helpful and accommodating. I am hopeful that someone in management will address the concerns raised in this post.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

M Burns

I popped into the store today, on Wednesday the 27th of September. There were flies all over the place, buzzing around the drinks machine and the walls near the seats. It was quite off-putting. I did bring it to the attention of the staff...
Amelia Brown (16/07/2025, 06:55):
The worst place to pick up food deliveries from! They always leave you waiting for ages, items are missing, they don't give you a receipt, bags are not security sealed. Save yourself a ton of time and order through Just Eat, Delivery Co-op, Sainsbury's, or Morrisons instead. Cheers!
Mary Miller (15/07/2025, 07:43):
They seem to prefer pushing folks towards self-service checkouts by having few checkout staff available and letting lines pile up. Frequently running out of essential items.
Thomas Jordan (14/07/2025, 16:48):
I'll definitely be coming back to this place, all the staff are amazing and friendly. In particular, the car park staff are top-notch, especially this one guy named Mark Williams or Wilson with blonde hair. The way he was handling those five trollies, making them skid around corners and drift between cars while whistling the Tokyo Drift theme song was just incredible. He's like the Lionel Messi of trolley-pushing, and the way he neatly placed them back in the shelters was like watching Griffiths score that epic double against England. They should definitely give him a raise or some new work boots because the soles of his current ones must be worn through. You wouldn't see that kind of dedication at Tesco. Apparently, it all started when he took breakdancing classes.
Rose Ortiz (11/07/2025, 09:36):
I'm not very thrilled with the online stores linked to this supermarket. My recent orders have either arrived with random items, missing items, or like my latest order, had 6 unavailable items with no substitutes. I'm pretty sure you must have ground beef in stock, mushrooms, and a suitable alternative for dishwasher tablets, even powder would have sufficed! I chatted with the delivery driver, who are always delightful and super helpful, and he suggested contacting the store and speaking with the manager. I tried calling, but due to high demand, I couldn't get through. I don't encounter these issues with my orders from Tesco. It seems like whoever is picking the orders at the store could benefit from some additional training.
Samantha Reed (08/07/2025, 04:52):
The ASDA Blantyre Superstore is a splendid spot to stock up on all your household essentials. They've got a vast array of goodies, from fresh fruits and veggies to state-of-the-art gadgets, all at prices that'll have you grinning from ear to ear. The folks there are always ready to lend a hand with a smile, making your shopping spree a delightful experience. The store is spick and span, with everything neatly arranged, so you won't be wandering around lost like a deer in the headlights. And let's not forget the cherry on top – they frequently have sales and special deals, making it even easier on the pocket. All in all, I'd say give ASDA Superstore a whirl for your next shopping escapade.
Roy Gutierrez (08/07/2025, 01:46):
This Asda is probably the worst I've been to. Even with shelves fully stocked, I couldn't find hardly anything I was looking for. Take my advice and choose a different supermarket, any other Asda would be better. Your time is wasted here.
Zachary Patterson (07/07/2025, 13:00):
I must say, the service at Asda Kitchen was absolutely dreadful! I found myself waiting for at least 10 minutes just to be attended to. Can you believe it? I was standing there at the counter, having already paid, while the staff were all in the back having a chat! Simply terrible. 😡😡
Juan Russell (07/07/2025, 08:26):
So much better than that beast of a supermarket in Hamilton, always easy to find parking, and way less crowded. Sheena at the pizza counter is absolutely fantastic, constantly exceeding expectations.
Chloe Moore (06/07/2025, 23:27):
Supermarket's got pretty much all you'd need. Never had any issues myself. Decent parking and a free ATM too. Cheers!
Judy Torres (03/07/2025, 20:42):
Fantastic spot for picking up groceries, the whole crew is absolutely lovely.
