The aisles in the food store are dreadfully narrow, just like in Falkirk and Stirling. If two people pause, the entire aisle is impassable. It might be wise to pay a visit to Morrisons and take notes.

I recently had a bra fitting at the store. Dawn, the lovely fitter, was so professional and polite. She managed to find me the perfect style I was looking for.
Frank Turner (12/09/2025, 00:24):
Just reserved a spot for a bra fitting at Supermarket, and the lady who assisted me (I believe her name was Norma) was incredibly helpful. She swiftly found the perfect fit for me, allowed me to try on various options, and even directed me to where I could locate more in my size.

Everything went smoothly, and I happily walked out with 6 new items.
Diana Miller (08/09/2025, 10:01):
As an outlet store, the prices at Supermarket are far more appealing than those at regular retail stores. I must say, I was rather impressed by the incredibly helpful staff. Just a heads up for anyone planning a visit - not all items are showcased on the shelves. If you don't spot what you're looking for, don't hesitate to ask one of the staff to check the stockroom. Cheers!

My grandkids, bless 'em, they recommended I pay a visit to Livingston center as they know shopping is my cup of tea. And what a treat it was! Afterward, we swung by the M&S Cafe, where I must say, I enjoyed every bite of my scone and sip of coffee. Count on me for a return trip real soon!
Mia Ward (07/09/2025, 22:26):
They do provide vegan choices for a swift lunch, loads of plastic packaging, and usually quite challenging to come across a wide array of options.
Catherine Russell (04/09/2025, 04:34):
Absolutely chuffed with my latest trip to the supermarket.
The staff always bend over backwards to help you find what you need.
Highly recommend popping in for a visit. Cheers!

The staff at this store were absolutely dreadful. It was such a letdown. I visited with my elderly parents to purchase a pair of shoes for my father. Sadly, no assistance was offered while we were trying on the shoes. Eventually, my mother had to approach the staff to ask for a shoe horn. When I went to the checkout, there were 5 employees there, but they were too engrossed in chatting to notice me waiting for about 5 minutes. And the most unpleasant part was when my 86-year-old mother bid farewell and thanked them as she left, only to be completely ignored by the cashier who had already turned away to chat with her colleague. Unacceptable behavior.

The folks at M&S Café are really on top of their game when it comes to COVID guidelines. However, I must say I was rather let down by their selection of gluten-free options. The only thing available seems to be fruit scones, which were rock hard today and not everyone enjoys raisins. And don't even get me started on the egg and cress sandwiches – talk about lacking creativity! Come on, Marks and Spencers, you can definitely step up your game in that department.
Timothy Robinson (30/08/2025, 21:31):
I frequent this supermarket branch regularly, and I must say that the staff have been absolutely splendid during the COVID-19 pandemic. They are kind and very helpful in these uncertain times. I'm pleased to see that track and tracing measures are now implemented at the cafe site. However, it's a bit disappointing that the Rainbow sale appears to be somewhat underwhelming. I truly hope that this M&S store in Livingston will continue to thrive. Cheers!
Kyle Wilson (29/08/2025, 10:00):
Popped in for a look around and was delighted to see your lovely staff not only carrying out their duties but also lending a hand to charity. They were really helpful!
Alexander Myers (28/08/2025, 02:16):
I always pop into M & S because I really appreciate their top-notch products, but I must say, the Livingston store has been a bit of a letdown lately. The stock rotation is just not up to par, with some really disappointing expiration dates and shelves often looking quite bare right at opening time. You'd think they'd have everything ready to go bright and early, but sadly that's not the case. It's a real shame, as this used to be my go-to spot for grocery shopping. All in all, a rather poor display of service.
Elizabeth Reyes (27/08/2025, 20:50):
I reckon they ain't living up to their old reputation. Waitrose serves up tastier grub at the same prices, if not cheaper.
Melissa Bailey (27/08/2025, 02:04):
The staff were really friendly, and I must say, the food hall was quite impressive, especially the bakery section. And let me tell you, the cafeteria was one of the speediest I've experienced at M&S in terms of service.
Aaron Morgan (24/08/2025, 15:48):
High-quality products at reasonable prices. The children's clothing is excellent, and the school uniform options offer better value for money compared to what the schools provide. The store boasts very helpful staff, especially two women in the women's department who spent extra time catering to my family's needs. Arlene and Joan are truly outstanding employees and are the main reason I will continue shopping here.
Michael Price (20/08/2025, 01:22):
Great bargains on top quality clothing available at Supermarket!

With a wide selection for women, men, and kids, you can find just what you need.

New shipments arriving every Monday and Thursday for fresh picks.

The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, making your shopping experience enjoyable.
Thomas Long (19/08/2025, 12:35):
I always enjoy me wander around this supermarket..picked up some fresh veg and fruit..top-notch quality, I must say.
Diane Patterson (18/08/2025, 05:51):
My folks had a bit of a mishap at the store in Livingston, and let me tell you, the ladies and the young chap who assisted them were absolutely brilliant. They ensured they were alright and even offered to fetch a doctor, but you know how the older generation is, they insisted they were fine. It seemed like shock and embarrassment were their main concerns. Julie and Alison, I cannot commend you both highly enough.
Gloria Fisher (16/08/2025, 08:07):
While this M&S store may not be as well stocked as some others, you can still find most items here. Plus, you always have the option to have your items delivered to the store. I do wish they offered banking services at this location, that would be convenient.
Mark Jackson (15/08/2025, 23:48):
This place is way too pricey, the products are just the same as any other supermarket but with a higher price tag. For instance, a bottle of Moscatel won't set you back more than six pounds elsewhere, but here it's a few quid extra, and not as good as what Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Lidl, or Sainsbury's offer. I'd rate it one star, but they do carry Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise, my favorite wine, at a surprisingly decent price (for M&S). Also, their chocolate éclairs are a cut above the bland versions in other supermarkets. Overall, not the best place to shop. Unless you're into éclairs and sweet muscat wine, there's no real reason to go there.
