Exploring Marks and Spencer in Aberdeen

Marks and Spencer, located conveniently in Aberdeen, presents a unique shopping experience that caters to various needs. With a plethora of offerings ranging from fresh produce to stylish clothing, it’s a favorite among locals.

In-Store Experience

The store is designed for accessibility, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible car park. Its layout is straightforward, making in-store shopping an enjoyable task. For those looking for quick shopping trips, the in-store pick-up option is exceptionally helpful.

Payment Options

Customers can utilize debit cards, NFC mobile payments, and even cash-only transactions, giving them flexibility according to their preferences. However, one drawback noted by patrons is the limited stock, which can affect the overall shopping experience.

Food Highlights

The food section is a standout feature, boasting great produce with an impressive selection of both ready meals and fresh ingredients. Shoppers rave about the quality of items like cheese and recommended products such as Maple Syrup. However, there have been concerns regarding hygiene, particularly with on-site services like the café.

Café and Dining Experience

The café on the second floor offers a bright and modern atmosphere where customers can unwind. Despite some inconsistency in service, many travelers have enjoyed a pleasant meal or coffee there. Feedback indicates that the café could improve its service options, especially during busy periods.

Diversity and Inclusivity

Marks and Spencer prides itself on being LGBTQ+ friendly, fostering an inclusive environment. The store actively accommodates diverse customer needs, contributing to a welcoming shopping atmosphere.

I really enjoy shopping at the supermarket for shoes, especially for kids! Walkers brand is fantastic - good quality and super comfortable. If you want the best for your child, you must go for Walkers brand shoes 👞!
Danielle Bailey (28/07/2025, 10:28):
The fruit and veg at this place are top-notch, and they've got some seriously tempting unhealthy options too! The bakery section is a winner as well. Prices are a tad on the high side, but once you step inside, it's hard to resist splurging a little!
Keith Reynolds (20/07/2025, 17:00):
I absolutely adore shopping at this store because the quality is top-notch and the prices are so reasonable. And when there's a special offer or sale, it's just fantastic!
Daisy Ward (20/07/2025, 12:22):
Once upon a time, me mate cheekily took an Xmas reindeer from the Supermarket display for his granddaughter (after a few pints, mind you). The next day, he was swiftly apprehended on Holburn Street, escorted to Queen Street, and given a proper grilling. It's a bit of a police state around here, ain't it? They even caught the poor reindeer! Needless to say, me mate ain't welcome back at that shop ever again (not that he gives a toss, really).

This Marks and Spencer is absolutely brill, innit? It's dead handy for me on my way home from the railway station. The food section is top-notch, loads of choices and some proper good deals. Upstairs, they've got more stuff for the house, and the prices are competitive. And the staff? They're well helpful, mate.
Debra Morris (17/07/2025, 06:55):
The coffee is lovely. It's Marks & Spencer, need I say more?
Gabriel Jenkins (16/07/2025, 07:24):
Absolutely smashing cafe to unwind after a spot of Christmas shopping, innit?
Christian Clark (14/07/2025, 18:01):
Oh dear, popped into the coffee shop at 3:15 pm on a Saturday only to find that there were no cakes left. Quite disappointed with the situation.
Donna Gonzalez (14/07/2025, 01:09):
This store has everything I need, but the prices are just outrageous! £5 for a chicken salad? If they were to lower their prices a bit, the store would be bustling once more. And don't even get me started on their clothing selection - I wonder if they offer online ordering?
Ashley Barnes (12/07/2025, 01:01):
The portion sizes of the cooked food are a bit on the small side (they serve it in large bowls to make it appear bigger) considering the price you pay. It would be worth spending a couple more pounds and heading to restaurants or cafes like Bar Burrito, Nando's, or Thaikun inside Union Square for a more satisfying portion. I also had the impression that the food seemed as if it was fresh out of an M&S microwave meal.
Charles Watson (11/07/2025, 10:34):
The new layout since they relocated from Union Street ain't quite hitting the mark for me - feels a bit cramped, if you catch my drift. Might tick the boxes for some, though.
Daniel Hill (09/07/2025, 07:35):
It's so convenient having the supermarket in Union Square. The dine-in deals for two are absolutely fantastic.
Ava Foster (08/07/2025, 15:04):
The clothing shop is decent, but the service in the grocery department can be a bit tight. They always seem to be running low on something. I do wish the service was improved.
Samantha Cruz (08/07/2025, 14:22):
I absolutely adored the food hall, as per usual! The staff were amazing.
Mark Rodriguez (08/07/2025, 13:23):
Just grabbed me some scrumptious party grub for Christmas. Top-notch café as well!
Logan Allen (05/07/2025, 16:01):
Lovely shop. Excellent variety of products and staff is so friendly.
Karen Hayes (05/07/2025, 13:16):
Always a joy to pop into M&S for a spot of shopping. The grub is top-notch and the wine selection is simply divine.
Sarah White (05/07/2025, 01:48):
Absolutely top-notch experience with Supermarket! The quality of their products is simply outstanding.
Bobby Garcia (03/07/2025, 03:03):
Just popped into this delightful cafe, top-notch service I must say. Enjoyed a spot of tea and some scrumptious caramel shortbread while taking in the lovely view of the harbor/car park.
Matthew Taylor (30/06/2025, 15:48):
I have never been especially wowed by M&S's own brand products, perhaps my palate isn't quite as refined? However, I do relish sampling their locally sourced goods, which I often find to be of top-notch quality. The staff are consistently accommodating, courteous, and knowledgeable. As someone who only shops out of sheer necessity, M&S has never compelled me to unleash my inner demons (which, trust me, is a great relief). Additionally, its location is incredibly convenient.
