Exploring Marks and Spencer in Aberdeen

Marks and Spencer, located conveniently in Aberdeen, presents a unique shopping experience that caters to various needs. With a plethora of offerings ranging from fresh produce to stylish clothing, it’s a favorite among locals.

In-Store Experience

The store is designed for accessibility, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible car park. Its layout is straightforward, making in-store shopping an enjoyable task. For those looking for quick shopping trips, the in-store pick-up option is exceptionally helpful.

Payment Options

Customers can utilize debit cards, NFC mobile payments, and even cash-only transactions, giving them flexibility according to their preferences. However, one drawback noted by patrons is the limited stock, which can affect the overall shopping experience.

Food Highlights

The food section is a standout feature, boasting great produce with an impressive selection of both ready meals and fresh ingredients. Shoppers rave about the quality of items like cheese and recommended products such as Maple Syrup. However, there have been concerns regarding hygiene, particularly with on-site services like the café.

Café and Dining Experience

The café on the second floor offers a bright and modern atmosphere where customers can unwind. Despite some inconsistency in service, many travelers have enjoyed a pleasant meal or coffee there. Feedback indicates that the café could improve its service options, especially during busy periods.

Diversity and Inclusivity

Marks and Spencer prides itself on being LGBTQ+ friendly, fostering an inclusive environment. The store actively accommodates diverse customer needs, contributing to a welcoming shopping atmosphere.

Conclusion

While some experiences highlight areas for improvement, notably in stock availability and café service, Marks and Spencer in Aberdeen remains a practical choice for shoppers seeking quality clothing and food. There ain't a wide range of hot grub, but let me tell ya, the soup, sandwiches, and scones are absolute top-notch.
Olivia Garcia (25/05/2025, 16:36):
Enjoyed a spot of lunch at this establishment today. The soup was absolutely delightful - piping hot and served with a friendly smile. Cheers!
John Nguyen (21/05/2025, 12:27):
Terrible customer service. The manager doesn't seem to care about the customers at all. The staff is very rude and unhelpful. They even tried to sell me a spoiled food item! When I asked for a replacement for the moldy garlic, they refused. Be cautious when shopping here.
Patricia Henderson (21/05/2025, 07:07):
Not worth the dosh, I say. Still got a dodgy tummy from it all. They really ought to up their game in the grub department.
Keith Howard (17/05/2025, 16:35):
Delightful grub, and it can be a tad pricey, but the quality is top-notch. Excellent assortment of goods and speedy service.
Gary Thompson (17/05/2025, 02:42):
This supermarket boasts a vast food department brimming with a scrumptious array of fresh produce, prepared meals, and more. Additionally, the store stocks children's apparel and an assortment of household items. They also offer a range of greeting cards and magazines.
I must say, their Maple Syrup is absolutely divine - I highly recommend it!
Wayne Bennett (15/05/2025, 11:40):
Absolutely brilliant, the team were so helpful and the produce, top-notch quality as always!
Billy Cox (11/05/2025, 16:04):
It be the smaller of the two stores in Aberdeen, but it be caterin' to most needs for fine quality food and furniture.
Karen Ward (11/05/2025, 06:29):
The store is always bustling, but when the food and bakery are top-notch, I don't mind waiting in line. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for quality products.
Gloria Powell (10/05/2025, 15:33):
Scored some real bargains that'll keep me fed for days... absolutely chuffed to bits
Sarah Lee (10/05/2025, 06:07):
I used to love shopping for furniture in this store. Marks and Spencers have really let me down with their clothing selection recently. Come on, Markies, please bring back the quality and high fashion that you were known for!
Nancy Alexander (08/05/2025, 19:03):
I really fancy this store. It's much tinier than the one at bon accord, yet so tranquil and with a charming cafe on the upper floor.
Timothy Graham (08/05/2025, 05:42):
Many a time they don't carry essential goods and they only have items in stock for a brief spell before they vanish from the shelves.
Joseph Ortiz (06/05/2025, 20:44):
A splendid spot to drop by. This establishment boasts a grocery store, apparel, home furnishings, and decor, along with a delightful eatery/café.
Matthew Morgan (05/05/2025, 06:02):
This place has some great stuff, and a cozy little cafe on the upper floor where you can find the fancier items.

Just across from the entrance, next to M&S, there's this charming pub called the Prince of Wales. It's a great spot for delicious food and drinks of all kinds.
Daisy Lee (02/05/2025, 20:54):
M&S, what else can I say? Top-notch store with fabulous food.
Laura Young (02/05/2025, 10:16):
Located just a stone's throw from Union Square, on the far side of the train station, this supermarket consistently delivers fantastic deals. The aisles are spacious, allowing you to browse without feeling cramped, and there's always a good selection to choose from. A great spot to stock up on essentials or treat yourself to something special!
Lawrence Thompson (02/05/2025, 03:14):
Convenient spot, great parking, and a nifty elevator from the rear of the fresh produce section up to the parking lot. The cafe is a solid option for family dining. The staff is always very friendly.
Adam Mitchell (01/05/2025, 22:01):
M&S may have a reputation for posh nosh and friendly faces, but I must say, some of the customer comportment leaves a lot to be desired! Just because I was strolling about with my walking aid doesn't give anyone the right to shove me aside. And let me tell you, at the cleaning station, I discovered the kitchen roll for tidying up trolleys and baskets neatly folded - you'd only find that touch of class at M&S!
Janet Edwards (30/04/2025, 16:13):
Alright shop, a tad baffling and tricky to locate items plus the lighting is a bit intense. Apart from that, all you'd anticipate from an M&S store. On-site parking available for a fee.
