Recycling Initiatives

A growing concern among shoppers is sustainability and recycling. Unfortunately, many customers have expressed disappointment regarding the lack of recycling facilities for items like glass bottles, metal cans, and batteries that cannot be easily recycled at home, indicating a need for the store to enhance its eco-friendly practices.

Food Quality and Fresh Produce

While Asda offers great produce, feedback suggests that the quality and availability of fresh items like fruits and vegetables may occasionally fall short. Shoppers have complained about low stock levels and short-dated products, which can detract from the overall shopping experience.

Customer Experiences and Highlights

Many customers have highlighted the friendly nature of the staff and their willingness to help. Instances like the quick recovery of lost items by security personnel such as Trish demonstrate excellent customer service. However, frequent reports mention the disarray within the store and the under-staffing at checkout points, leading to delays, particularly during peak hours.

Café and Dining Experience

The café at Asda Bishopbriggs has received mixed reviews. While some describe it as a pleasant place to dine, others express dissatisfaction with food quality and temperature. Instances of poor service are concerning and suggest areas for improvement.

Conclusion

Asda Bishopbriggs Superstore serves as a vital resource for local shoppers, offering a convenient selection of products and services. However, addressing issues related to stock availability, cleanliness, and customer service could significantly enhance the shopping experience. Despite the challenges, many continue to appreciate the store's offerings and the friendly staff who aim to assist at every turn.

Lovely store, top-notch fruits and veggies! (^_-)
Kimberly Sullivan (30/08/2025, 17:31):
I approached the kiosk seeking assistance, only to be met with an unhelpful employee who bluntly stated, "can't be bothered." The manager then intervened, accusing me of lying before finally providing me with my fresh sterling taste after an additional 20 minutes. My shopping experience was anything but pleasant or productive. What a dreadful establishment.
Anna Rogers (30/08/2025, 02:17):
The Best grocery store in town! I absolutely love shopping there. It's always such a fun experience. Most people find all the goods they need at affordable prices.
Ruth Rogers (29/08/2025, 05:45):
I popped by the George home section in this store, but I must say I was somewhat let down by the limited range available.
Karen Anderson (27/08/2025, 15:50):
This massive emporium lacks a proper selection of goods.
Joan Mitchell (27/08/2025, 00:28):
My 86-year-old father had taken a seat in the café while waiting for my mum to finish shopping, as he struggles to walk and relies on a walker. However, he was asked to leave because he hadn't made a purchase. Where is the compassion in that? 😡
Leonard Jordan (26/08/2025, 15:59):
We do enjoy our trips to Asda for our shopping needs, but it seems that prices are steadily on the rise.
Margaret Garcia (26/08/2025, 05:57):
Neat and tidy layout. Charging points available for electric vehicles, which is a great addition.
Mia Martin (25/08/2025, 22:19):
Although not the largest supermarket around, this little gem still offers plenty of bargains. They have a great selection of clothing, perfect for those fast-growing grandchildren. The food hall is sufficient for my weekly shopping needs, and I only need to look elsewhere for special occasions. The staff is always friendly and ready to assist.
Joan Patterson (24/08/2025, 16:02):
I find myself frequenting Asda Bishopbriggs quite often, and what really bothers me is when vehicles without Blue Badges park in the Disabled bays. It's just not on, mate.
Brittany Russell (23/08/2025, 19:43):
I found everything I needed and zipped through the checkout pretty swiftly. Cheers to a hassle-free shopping experience!
Danielle Reed (21/08/2025, 07:34):
I shop at this supermarket several times a week and I have never faced any issues. The folks at the customer service desk are always eager to assist and will reach out to other stores to check for stock if a particular item is not available. The store is well-stocked and offers competitive prices.
Kathleen Morales (20/08/2025, 14:46):
The Health and Safety standards regarding social distancing at this establishment are shambolic. There seems to be a lack of proper controls in place, making it a very dangerous and concerning experience.
Ryan Russell (18/08/2025, 10:13):
One of the worst-kept supermarkets I have ever had the misfortune to visit, if I may be so blunt.
Angela Wilson (17/08/2025, 18:50):
This store is fantastic as it has everything you need under one roof. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is also top-notch.
Nicole Clark (17/08/2025, 09:50):
Shortage of personnel at the lottery booth, and they are too engaged in conversation with one another. It is crucial to assign additional staff to this area.
Margaret Sanders (15/08/2025, 08:27):
I must say, the service is simply dreadful! I tried calling, but couldn't even get through. And what a shock to see that I was charged 45 pounds for the new men's Gillette razor when it clearly stated 30 pounds. Luckily, I caught the error, but how many others may not have noticed? How can the till overcharge by 15 pounds like that? From now on, I'll be double-checking my receipt every time.
Ethan Smith (14/08/2025, 19:31):
I encountered a problem with a purchase today and returned to the store without a receipt, feeling a tad anxious about how I would be received. The customer service team was incredible - supportive, empathetic, AND they resolved my issue. Many thanks to Asda Bishopbriggs. You guys are top-notch!
Eric Hayes (13/08/2025, 05:02):
This store is absolutely the worst I've come across when it comes to not adhering to the face mask rule, and this includes the employees as well.
Brenda Powell (11/08/2025, 10:24):
Although this shop is just a stone's throw away from my place, I rarely visit as the experience is quite inadequate. Against my better judgment, I decided to pop in this week since they opened early, only to be greeted by aisles brimming with boxes. Maneuvering through this obstacle course, I eventually reached the checkouts, all closed except for the self-checkout which, when you have a cart full of groceries, proves to be utterly impractical with its minuscule packing space. The loading shelves are inconveniently low, showing no regard for the customer's comfort. While I understand that the staff may have other responsibilities, it is baffling why not even one manned register was open, especially given that multiple staff groups were engaged in conversations at the aisle ends. Another dreadful ordeal, which cannot be mere happenstance, and in light of similar reviews, is evidently a recurring issue.
