Recycling Initiatives

A growing concern among shoppers is sustainability and recycling. Unfortunately, many customers have expressed disappointment regarding the lack of recycling facilities for items like glass bottles, metal cans, and batteries that cannot be easily recycled at home, indicating a need for the store to enhance its eco-friendly practices.

Food Quality and Fresh Produce

While Asda offers great produce, feedback suggests that the quality and availability of fresh items like fruits and vegetables may occasionally fall short. Shoppers have complained about low stock levels and short-dated products, which can detract from the overall shopping experience.

Customer Experiences and Highlights

Many customers have highlighted the friendly nature of the staff and their willingness to help. Instances like the quick recovery of lost items by security personnel such as Trish demonstrate excellent customer service. However, frequent reports mention the disarray within the store and the under-staffing at checkout points, leading to delays, particularly during peak hours.

Café and Dining Experience

The café at Asda Bishopbriggs has received mixed reviews. While some describe it as a pleasant place to dine, others express dissatisfaction with food quality and temperature. Instances of poor service are concerning and suggest areas for improvement.

Conclusion

Asda Bishopbriggs Superstore serves as a vital resource for local shoppers, offering a convenient selection of products and services. However, addressing issues related to stock availability, cleanliness, and customer service could significantly enhance the shopping experience. Despite the challenges, many continue to appreciate the store's offerings and the friendly staff who aim to assist at every turn.

The shopability of this scooter is absolutely splendid! The service is top-notch as well. Brilliant experience xx
Lauren Ortiz (09/08/2025, 17:22):
As a small grocer, they may not always stock everything you're after, but the staff are always pleasant. The tills may not open until 9, but the self-service option is reliable. Some of the other reviews seem a tad nitpicky, if you ask me.
Katherine Perez (07/08/2025, 00:17):
I popped into Asda Bishopbriggs earlier today and was quite miffed to spot two lads rolling about the checkout area on electric scooters without supervision. One would think Asda would understand their responsibility to safeguard customers from potential harm, as well as actual injuries. The store is bustling with elderly patrons and young kids, for heaven's sake! Come on, Asda, a little bit of common sense wouldn't go amiss. No unauthorized vehicles, scooters, or bikes allowed. This occurred on Friday the 12th of August at 4 pm, and this isn't the first instance - it seems to happen regularly.
Michelle Cruz (04/08/2025, 11:38):

Larry Ortiz (01/08/2025, 09:47):
Had a lovely meal in a cozy environment. The staff were cheerful and I'll definitely come back.
Frank Sullivan (25/07/2025, 03:16):
I must say, the lady with the spectacles at the express checkout by the sandwich section ought to muster up a smile, offer more assistance, and cease chatting with her coworkers. It is imperative that she attends diligently to her duties for which she is remunerated and refrains from using her mobile device while on duty. This behavior is disrespectful and unsatisfactory for someone in a professional capacity. My dissatisfaction stems from the subpar customer service provided in this instance.
Sarah Reed (24/07/2025, 11:19):
Always find time, ample parking, wide variety, staff is top-notch friendly.
Brandon Allen (24/07/2025, 03:38):
A medium-sized Asda store offers a great selection of products and has extremely helpful and friendly staff.
Mia Graham (23/07/2025, 23:26):
Fantastic selection, competitive pricing, and convenient late hours.
John James (22/07/2025, 01:26):
I've been banned from this place about 10 times for playing hide and seek. Can't say I had much fun with that.
Ann Stewart (21/07/2025, 01:03):
Lovely little shop with a jolly good selection of goods. 👍
Pamela Gonzales (19/07/2025, 00:57):
Shopping all in one place. The staff are really friendly and the restaurant offers great value for money.
Lucy Perry (18/07/2025, 15:46):
I frequent this store every week and have been doing so for a good 30 years now. Normally, the staff are very helpful and friendly, but it's all gone a bit pear-shaped under the current restrictions. The rule is crystal clear: masks must be worn properly, covering both mouth and NOSE!! Yet, I see far too many customers and even staff members disregarding this simple instruction! And don't get me started on those folks who treat the aisles as if they're a social club, having lengthy chats with their mates. Outrageous!! Just today, it felt like everyone had brought along the entire extended family... Blimey! The government has laid down guidelines on how many people from one household can venture out at any given time!! So, please, stop dragging your little 'uns along, and if you do, keep a tight rein on them, will you!?
Donald Robinson (15/07/2025, 20:15):
I recently had an interesting experience with this supermarket on Uber Eats. The store itself is great, but I was shocked by their prices on the delivery app - I did a little price comparison and discovered they charged me £24.68 for my order, when it would have only been £16.40 if I had purchased it in-store. To make matters worse, it was supposed to be a special deal that should have cost me £16.46, including croissants. However, they were out of stock on the croissants and ended up canceling the entire order, leaving me below the promotional value.

When I tried to explain the situation to the Uber driver, they insisted on delivering the incomplete order without adjusting the price. I've filed a complaint with Uber Eats, but I don't have high hopes for a resolution.
Juan Nguyen (15/07/2025, 11:15):
Certainly, dear. It's been quite a struggle lately. The hustle and bustle in the supermarket is just overwhelming. It's disheartening to see some folks not adhering to pandemic protocols, not wearing their masks. I had to skip a couple of aisles myself as it was just too crowded to navigate through. Quite a frustrating shopping ordeal, I must say.
Zachary Myers (14/07/2025, 15:54):
Another store that has removed the disabled parking spaces next to the entrance.
Brian Scott (14/07/2025, 12:11):
The manager, he does be telling fibs about all sorts of things on the blower. It's really not on, you know!
Thomas White (06/07/2025, 04:45):
Pretty average ASDA, just bear in mind that petrol and diesel aren't available 24 hours.
