The worst place to pick up food deliveries from! They always leave you waiting for ages, items are missing, they don't give you a receipt, bags are not security sealed. Save yourself a ton of time and order through Just Eat, Delivery Co-op, Sainsbury's, or Morrisons instead. Cheers!
Mary Miller (15/07/2025, 07:43):
They seem to prefer pushing folks towards self-service checkouts by having few checkout staff available and letting lines pile up. Frequently running out of essential items.
Thomas Jordan (14/07/2025, 16:48):
I'll definitely be coming back to this place, all the staff are amazing and friendly. In particular, the car park staff are top-notch, especially this one guy named Mark Williams or Wilson with blonde hair. The way he was handling those five trollies, making them skid around corners and drift between cars while whistling the Tokyo Drift theme song was just incredible. He's like the Lionel Messi of trolley-pushing, and the way he neatly placed them back in the shelters was like watching Griffiths score that epic double against England. They should definitely give him a raise or some new work boots because the soles of his current ones must be worn through. You wouldn't see that kind of dedication at Tesco. Apparently, it all started when he took breakdancing classes.

I'm not very thrilled with the online stores linked to this supermarket. My recent orders have either arrived with random items, missing items, or like my latest order, had 6 unavailable items with no substitutes. I'm pretty sure you must have ground beef in stock, mushrooms, and a suitable alternative for dishwasher tablets, even powder would have sufficed! I chatted with the delivery driver, who are always delightful and super helpful, and he suggested contacting the store and speaking with the manager. I tried calling, but due to high demand, I couldn't get through. I don't encounter these issues with my orders from Tesco. It seems like whoever is picking the orders at the store could benefit from some additional training.

The ASDA Blantyre Superstore is a splendid spot to stock up on all your household essentials. They've got a vast array of goodies, from fresh fruits and veggies to state-of-the-art gadgets, all at prices that'll have you grinning from ear to ear. The folks there are always ready to lend a hand with a smile, making your shopping spree a delightful experience. The store is spick and span, with everything neatly arranged, so you won't be wandering around lost like a deer in the headlights. And let's not forget the cherry on top – they frequently have sales and special deals, making it even easier on the pocket. All in all, I'd say give ASDA Superstore a whirl for your next shopping escapade.
Roy Gutierrez (08/07/2025, 01:46):
This Asda is probably the worst I've been to. Even with shelves fully stocked, I couldn't find hardly anything I was looking for. Take my advice and choose a different supermarket, any other Asda would be better. Your time is wasted here.
Zachary Patterson (07/07/2025, 13:00):
I must say, the service at Asda Kitchen was absolutely dreadful! I found myself waiting for at least 10 minutes just to be attended to. Can you believe it? I was standing there at the counter, having already paid, while the staff were all in the back having a chat! Simply terrible. 😡😡
Juan Russell (07/07/2025, 08:26):
So much better than that beast of a supermarket in Hamilton, always easy to find parking, and way less crowded. Sheena at the pizza counter is absolutely fantastic, constantly exceeding expectations.
Chloe Moore (06/07/2025, 23:27):
Supermarket's got pretty much all you'd need. Never had any issues myself. Decent parking and a free ATM too. Cheers!
Judy Torres (03/07/2025, 20:42):
Fantastic spot for picking up groceries, the whole crew is absolutely lovely.
Joe Diaz (03/07/2025, 14:29):
I popped into this supermarket on Saturday and decided to grab a £16 meal deal from the cafe - pizza, sides, ice cream, and a bottle of juice. Seemed like a great bargain at first, but it turned out to be a disappointment. The chips were still raw, the pizza tasted horrendous, and the chicken nuggets were off. Needless to say, I won't be returning there anytime soon.
Susan Ortiz (02/07/2025, 06:55):
For those who may not be aware, it's important not to attempt returning electrical goods without a receipt. It appears that Asda no longer allows this practice. I returned a shaver three weeks ago without issue, but today, when trying to return a £15 toastie maker purchased via Scan & Go, I was informed that proof of purchase was required. As a loyal customer, I am quite disappointed with this new policy and the way it was handled by management.
Sarah Ramos (29/06/2025, 19:35):
Hello, I've been residing in Blantyre for quite a while now, and when Asda was constructed, it truly made a significant difference. Before its arrival, we only had small local shops, but having Asda here now allows us to complete all our shopping in one place. The staff are incredibly friendly, the store is kept clean, and there is a wide variety of products to cater to everyone's needs.
Ethan Evans (28/06/2025, 04:48):
I must say, this supermarket has really taken a turn for the worse. I was quite patient during their renovation phase, but it seems like things have not improved at all. The shelves are in disarray and it's quite disappointing.
Abigail Jackson (28/06/2025, 01:10):
The store staff is absolutely top-notch and provides brilliant customer service. We always shop here and have a fantastic time.
Frank Powell (20/06/2025, 19:56):
So many employees restocking shelves and fulfilling online orders, couldn't even navigate through the aisles. A cheeky staff member shook his head at me in the parking lot when I was trying to let him pass. When I asked if there was a problem, he mentioned that he was just letting me go first. He was on my blind spot and I could barely see him, hence why I was giving way to him to avoid any accidents. I explained this, but no apology was given.
David Hayes (16/06/2025, 03:50):
I recently visited a cafe where customers who ordered after me received their food before me, which I find rather disgraceful. I've been waiting for my order for 2 hours now and it's quite frustrating.
Keith Moore (15/06/2025, 21:47):
This is my local supermarket and I've only been there a few times so far. Haven't really had any problems until today when I was there with my partner and 19-month-old baby. He was crying in the shopping cart while we were checking out, and a staff member came over, leaned over his stroller, and told him to "shhh" in a harsh tone before walking away and continuing to make huffing sounds as they passed by. I'm absolutely shocked that a staff member would behave in such a manner over a crying baby.
Walter Ortiz (13/06/2025, 21:02):
The Supermarket is quite well stocked with a good selection of George clothing at a reasonable size, and the staff are very friendly.
Marilyn Coleman (13/06/2025, 12:44):
The supermarket ain't been open 24 hours like ASDA said for over 3 months now. It closes at midnight and doesn't open again 'til 5am.
