Aye, mate! I've noticed that the prices on the tags in this store can be a bit off at times. It's always a good idea to give 'em a once-over when you're scanning your bits at the self-checkout or take a peek at your receipt if someone else has rung you up, as they don't seem to keep their labels up to snuff.
Joseph Murphy (28/06/2025, 17:14):
Absolutely dreadful. A complete disaster. It was like a scene out of a blockbuster movie. The staff even had to resort to leaving handwritten notes for customers on where to place their food orders. We opted for a toastie and a panini, which miraculously appeared 15 minutes later on plates hotter than the sun.

In the meantime, we were mistakenly offered a burger and chips that weren't ours. When we politely informed the server, we were met with a rather curt response of "What are you waiting for then?" It was only after reiterating that the order wasn't ours that she bothered to verify our table number. It seems our meals had been ready for quite some time. I would advise avoiding this place at all costs; the staff seem to be plucked straight out of Middle Earth and are clearly disgruntled about Sauron's defeat.
Sharon Smith (28/06/2025, 16:35):
This supermarket is absolutely brilliant, mate! It's got all the essentials and it's located just by the beach. I've never had any troubles with the staff or the products, they're all so helpful and you don't have to wait in a long queue at the checkout. It's easy to find your way around the store, even though it's massive, and there are plenty of tills available. Top notch! 👍
Denise Reyes (28/06/2025, 05:52):
Not overly crowded, quite easy to maneuver in a motorized wheelchair. Successfully acquired all the items on my shopping list. And of course, couldn't resist some impromptu purchases as usual.
Keith Reyes (28/06/2025, 04:37):
I understand that everyone is adhering to social distancing measures, but I must say, the young lady at the customer service desk was quite unwelcoming. I was asked to step back twice, even though I was easily 5-6 meters away. I came to the store for a click and collect service, and despite being instructed to keep my distance multiple times, she insisted that I stand right next to the security guard. While I do appreciate the need for precautions, it seems that a bit more common sense and less heavy-handed approach would be more appropriate in this situation.
Eugene Cooper (27/06/2025, 15:24):
ASDA is not exactly a top-tier supermarket, in fact, this store is rather subpar. The displays are often disorganized and there's litter around. It could be because of the average customers they attract, but the staff really should be more on top of things.
Patricia Gutierrez (26/06/2025, 00:45):
The staff never seem to be in high spirits, always gathered in small groups of three or four with masks dangling under their chin or nose. Whenever I require help at the self-checkout, it appears to be an inconvenience on the faces of the staff.
Leonard Kelly (22/06/2025, 23:38):
Absolutely splendid experience at Asda, I must say! The chaps and lasses on staff were jolly friendly and always ready to assist in finding what we required. The only wee snag is best to steer clear after 1pm on a Saturday - it tends to get a tad gridlocked, you see. Cheers!
Randy Gray (22/06/2025, 07:06):
I popped into this place for a bite with the little ones. The grub was quite underwhelming, the pasta for the kids was charred, and the staff weren't exactly a ray of sunshine. Their customer service skills definitely left much to be desired.
Donald Lewis (21/06/2025, 01:26):
I must say, Asda stores seem to be lacking in the customer service department. Quite rude and disrespectful, if you ask me. It's no wonder they might be heading towards bankruptcy with such a negative attitude towards customers.
Chloe Collins (18/06/2025, 18:48):
This Asda superstore at the beach retail park is an absolute gem. Don't miss out on paying it a visit!
Jack Turner (18/06/2025, 04:31):
Great café with delicious sausage and bacon rolls at a very reasonable price. The service was quick and the staff were fantastic. I'll definitely be returning. Well done!
Kyle Ward (18/06/2025, 00:05):
I must say, I find it rather displeasing to be unjustly accused of theft. If the security guard had focused on his responsibilities instead of chattering away to his colleague beside him, and had carried out his duties diligently by keeping a close eye on me, he would have seen that I indeed paid for my items at the checkout. There would have been no need for the embarrassing confrontation at the exit in front of others. Truly appalling.
Charles Powell (15/06/2025, 18:34):
We love popping into Asda down by the seaside, it's always a pleasant shopping experience with friendly checkout staff.
Brandon Myers (14/06/2025, 01:31):
I love cruising down the spacious aisles at Asda in my mobility chair. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. However, I have noticed that not all the fruits and vegetables seem to be as fresh as they could be.
Megan Patterson (13/06/2025, 07:31):
I was perched by me window for a solid 2 hours eagerly awaiting me order. Lo and behold, it never arrived! I gave 'em a ring, only to be told that the driver supposedly tried to deliver it. No call, no knock on the door, and not even a glimpse of 'em as I kept a keen eye out while me mates were gallivanting about. The cheek of it! All they could muster was another delivery attempt slated for the morrow. Absolutely unacceptable service, if ye ask me.
Donna Garcia (12/06/2025, 11:13):
Steer clear of this Sanxi Derm hand gel from Asda! I picked it up yesterday, only to discover today what an absolutely terrible and overpowering stench it has. Initially, I thought the product had gone bad, but after checking online reviews, it turns out everyone else had the same horrendous encounter. The scent is so potent that it's nauseating, and it takes several thorough washes to rid your hands of it. Additionally, I noticed that Asda hasn't listed this product on their website, where I had hoped to leave a review originally. Why would Asda sell a product in-store without listing it online? I will certainly be returning this product!
Nicole Bailey (12/06/2025, 09:42):
My daughter and my 8-month-old granddaughter often enjoy a snack at the cafe in Beach Asda. The gentleman who runs the cafe is always so polite and helpful. He's such a lovely chap!
Sarah Murphy (11/06/2025, 12:27):
When you shop at ASDA, you know exactly what you're getting. Great bang for your buck and a fairly decent shopping trip overall.
Kevin Parker (05/06/2025, 15:49):
Plenty of parking available every time I visit the Supermarket. The staff is generally very friendly, although there is one exception - the man in charge of cleaning the toilets. On more than one occasion, I've caught him lurking in the cleaning cupboard, seemingly waiting for customers to vacate so he can 'tidy up'. He really ought to work on his choice of words and attitude if he wants to keep his job. Personally, I find him to be quite unpleasant. If not for his off-putting behavior, I would have easily given this place a five-star rating.
